Jazine Arbanasi scored more than 100 points for the fourth time in a row in A2 League Championship Stage. The club from Zadar defeated Belisce 104-87 on road in Round 8. Ribola Kastela outscored Borovo 38-7 in the second quarter for a huge 117-87 road win. Graficar and Rudes both recorded home wins.

Graficar-Sanac 76-64: After trailing 48-49, Graficar went on a decisive 12-2 run for a 60-51 lead late in the third quarter and never looked back from there. Mario Novak (185-G-85) collected 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, Jaksa Petrovic scored 14 points, Tomislav Hatlak (202-C-89) 12 and Luka Prpovic (90) grabbed 10 rebounds. Sanac was outrebounded 28-40 and shot better from 3-point range (43-percent, 9-of-21) than from 2-point land (40-percent, 14-of-35). Antonio Kraljic (193-G-93) finished with 17 points and 7 assists, Dominic Gilbert (198-G/F-96, college: UBC) had 15 points and 13 rebounds and Tin Panjevic scored 10 points.

Borovo-Ribola Kastela 78-117: Belisce opened the game with a 7-0 run, Kastela later scored dozen straight points to go up 14-9 and took control of the game behind a 15-0 run for a 43-25 lead early in the second quarter. Kastela outscored the home team 38-7 in the second quarter and lead 77-32 early after the break. Kastela shot 66-percent (46-of-70) from the field and had 40 assists. Josip Matic (202-SF-92) just missed a triple -double with 27 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists, Nikola Roso came off the bench for 18 points, Dino Sipic (201-F-88) and Josip Karanusic (195-SG-98) both scored 13 points, Stipe Rezic (201-G/F-89) 12, Stanko Kujundzic (190-G-96) 11, Frano Marasovic (214-C-92) 10 and Josip Glavinic (192-G-82) handed out 19 assists. Belisce was led by Toni Kovac (97) with 18 points, Mihael Bekavac (193-F-85) scored 13 and Mario Rajsic (94) 11.

Belisce-Jazine Arbanasi 87-104: Jazine opened the game with an 18-2 run to take control. Belisce cut the deficit to 31-40 midway through the second quarter, but the visitors responded with none consecutive points for an 18-point lead, which which never dropped below double figures for the rest of the game. Jazine outrebouned Belisce 49-29, picking up 20 offensive boards. Mate Mrva (198-F/C-83) had 29 points and 14 rebounds, Goran Fodor (195-G-90) 24 points including six 3-pointers, Dino Palcic (185-G-90) poured in 17 points and 8 assists and Jurica Drazovic (201-F-86) collected 15 points and 18 rebounds, Josip Ceranja (203-G-90) came off the bench for 13 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double. Belisce shot 12-of-24 behind the 3-point line and just 11-of-20 from the free throw line. Marko Soldo (198-G-89) finished with 23 points including five 3-pointers, Juraj Boras (191-G-91) scored 17 points, Kristijan Preglej (206-C/F-79) had 15 points and 11 rebounds, Goran Vidakovic (197-F-84) posted 13 points and Antonio Bicvic (196-F-82) 12.

Rudes-Pula 1981 69-61: Rudes trailed just twice, at 3-4 and 5-8. The home team used a 7-0 run to build a 33-24 lead and later extended their advantage to 45-33. Pula cut the deficit to 38-46, but Rudes answered with a 15-5 run to go ahead 61-43 late in the third quarter. Rudes shot 10-of-21 behind the arc. Kresimir Ljubicic (210-C-98) came off the bench for a game-high 17 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double, Mario Galic (196-G-89) had 12 points and 8 assists and Tomislav Cvitkovic (206-SG-98) scored 11 points. Pula hit only three 3-pointers. Ante Bozic (208-F/C-90, college: SW Oklahoma St.) posted 15 points and Marin Djugum 14.

De Longhi Treviso Basket 2012 (Serie A2) tabbed 22-year old Croatian power forward Tomislav Gabric (204-95, agency: PEPI SPORT). He started the season at BCM U Pitesti in Romanian Liga Nationala. In 34 games he averaged 12.4ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.5apg this season. The last season Gabric played at Metalac in Serbian KLS where in 5 games he had 9.2ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.6spg. Former international Center Luka Zoric (211-C-84) had an amazing evening in the last round for Cibona, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 26. The 32-year old player had a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat KK Split (#2, 21-5) 76-70. The game was between two of the league's top four teams.
