Lucija
Kostic
Experienced Lucija Kostic (187-F) had an amazing evening in the last round for Tresnjevka and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1.
The forward got a double-double of 10 points and ten assists, while her team outclassed, the league's bottom-ranked team Brod na Savi (#8, 0-1) with 61-point margin 113-52. Tresnjevka is placed at 4th position in Croatian A1. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Tresnjevka won just one (their first) game. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. It's Kostic's second year at Tresnjevka and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Kostic has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 9.0rpg) and averages solid 2.0bpg,3.0spg and 57.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young center Nina Dedic (187-C-96) of Zadar. Dedic impressed basketball fans with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists. It was enough for Zadar to edge Pula C.Tours (0-1) by 6 points 81-75. Her team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. However the season is at the beginning, so everything can happen. They still may lose their high position in the standings. Dedic is one of the most experienced players at Zadar and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.0ppg (#4).

The third best performed player last round was another Tresnjevka's star - Nika Muhl (177-PG-01). Muhl scored 9 points and passed eight assists. She was another key player of Tresnjevka, helping her team with a 113-52 easy win against Brod na Savi (#8, 0-1). Tresnjevka has a very good start of the season. But there was just one game played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Muhl also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. The season just started for Muhl as she played only first game. But it already looks like she can be another team's leader.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Viktorija Curic (185-C-01) of Podravac - 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Valentina Simunic (175-G-98) of Podravac - 14 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists
6. Maja Ramljak (185-C-88) of Pula C.Tours - 14 points and 10 rebounds
7. Josipa Pavic (187-C-99) of Tresnjevka - 16 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Karla Erjavec (172-G-99) of Tresnjevka - 26 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
9. Patricija Bura (188-C-96) of Medvescak - 15 points and 9 rebounds
10. Sanda Tosic (176-G/F-86) of Sibenik - 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
