Keravnos - AEL Limassol 44-49 OT

AEL Limassol survived in Nicosia on Thursday evening. The defending champion grabbed 44-49 overtime win tying the score to 2-2 in the Finals. It means that AEL forced crucial Game Five, which will be played at their home court in Limassol. That game is scheduled for Monday, April 9. Monika Gavriloska (190-F/C-76, agency: Global Sports Plaza) was a key player in AEL with 16 points. Kalia Papadopoulou (166-G-80) and Asimina Koutsounouri (190-C) delivered 11 points each. For the home squad, Biljana Pavicevic (191-F-80, agency: LBM Management) shined with 20 points and she was the only one with double digits in scoring. Marija Boskovic (173-G-81) stopped to 8 points in this meeting. Keravnos was 7 points up after 30 minutes, but AEL managed to win the last period with 9-17 and to force the overtime. Quarters: 11-7, 18-17, 31-23, 40-40, 44-49 OT.

AEL and Keravnos won first games of the semifinals clashes. AEL overcame ENAD 70-66 in double-overtime drama. Zoe Agapiou (182-F/C-83) top-scored for the winners with 17 points, while Loukia Larkou (171-F/G-88) posted 14. Keravnos meanwhile thrashed Apollon 70-31. After a slow 15-14 start, the hosts erupted for a 15-1 surge in the second frame and dominated also the second half. Keravnos - ENAD 54-41 Keravnos edge ENAD to capture Cup title in Cyprus. Keravnos posted a 54-41 win as they controlled the majority of the game. The board showed 15-11 at the end of the first period for the top team of the Regular Season. Keravnos led 25-23 at the halftime and then pushed the tempo for 40-30 with 10 minutes to go. Division A Round 14: AEL Limassol overcome ENAD in the most crucial game of the week - 30 days ago
There will be only one (last) round of the Regular Season in Division A. An exciting game was played in Limassol. Second ranked AEL Limassol faced one of their biggest challengers ENAD. Host AEL Limassol (11-3) defeated guests from Nicosia (8-6) 61-52. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 61-52.
