ASP Promitheas Patras (A1) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old American guard Baden Jaxen (190-82kg-90, college: N.Carolina). He started the season at Etha in Cypriot Division A. In 15 games he recorded very impressive stats: 21.9ppg, 4.7rpg, 4.1apg and 1.3spg this season. 31-year old forward Mohamed Abukar (208-F-85, agency: Two Points) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Keravnos and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 20. He had a double-double of 31 points and 10 rebounds, while his team beat Etha (#5, 4-16) 86-77. It allowed Keravnos to consolidate first place in the Cypriot league. An interesting game for Apoel (11-9) which played road game in Paralimni against one of their biggest challengers Enosis (8-12). Third ranked Apoel had an easy win 79-60. The game without a history. Apoel led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game.
