Dallas Maverics is known for having international ties with international coaches and players . Raca is the only Serbian/Cypriot Head Coach next season to coach in CBA (Chinese Basketball Association). During successful career Raca Dragan wan on the bench of Cypriot and Greek teams like AEL Limassol, Iraklis Thessaloniki, Deltalcon APOEL Nicosia, AEP Olimpias Patron, in Beirut Al Hekmeh and now in China.

Royal Aera Excelsior Brussels (Division II) inked 22-year old American forward Brandon Ubel (208-106kg-91). He just graduated from Nebraska (NCAA). In 31 games he recorded 11.5ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.6apg this season. The last season Ubel also at the University of Nebraska in Big Ten Conference in the NCAA. In 30 games he averaged 6.7ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.3apg.

Surely when Linos Gavriel took his decision to join Etoile du Sahel this season, few people believed that the Cypriot coach would have such a great season. But looking at his past there were few years that Linos Gavriel didnt succeed anything during the year. And of course if you take a quick look at his achievements then you realize why he succeeded
2001-2007 Assistant coach in Cytavision APOEL, he won a championship (2002) and a cup (2003), parallel he was technical manager of the team and coach of the youth team during this years. He manages to celebrate 3 championships (2005, 2006, and 2007) and 3 cups (2003, 2005, and 2006) and a special cup in 2005. As you can see one double (2006) and a triple (2005) are among the achievements.
2008-2010 in K V Imperial AEL, were he celebrate every year the double (2008, 2009, and 2010). Also lead his team in quarterfinals of Eurocup.
In 2010-11 he was in Proteas EKA AEL and although he was moved away in March 2011 (after the loss in cup final) his ex-team also was in the championship final.
From 2007-2011 he was as assistant coach in Cyprus NT achieving a gold medal in 2009 in AMKE Also in 2005 as head coach of the Cyprus military NT took 6th position in the world cup in Russia.
This year the Cypriot coach went a step further. He is the only Cypriot coach who won a double abroad by taking a risky decision to join Etoile du Sahel and it seems that people there would not let him go so easily after this season.
Linos with his work proved that everything can happen if you believe to it. And Linos believe that he can succeed. So simple so easy to understand it!
