Croatia clinched the fifth straight win at 2013 EuroBasket Qualifying Round Group C. They dismantled Cyprus in Nicosia to stay unbeaten. Luksa Andric (210-C-85, agency: Beo Basket) and Krunoslav Simon (197-G/F-85, agency: Beo Basket) scored 16 points each to lead Croatia as they can book tickets to Slovenia.
Croatia eked out an 18:17 lead after ten minutes. The visitors started to get away in the second frame. They posted a 40:31 halftime lead. Croatia exploded with 25 points in the third frame. They stretched the margin at 18-point mark before the fourth stanza. Cyprus collapsed both offensive and defensively in the final term. Croatia capped the game on a 33:2 run to seal a comfortable victory. Bojan Bogdanovic (203-SG-89) netted 14 points, while Saric had 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Anthony King (206-F/C-85, agency: Interperformances, college: Miami, FL) replied with 20 points for Cyprus. Panagiotis Trisokkas (206-PF-80) netted 15 points in the loss.

American Cadarian Raines (206-F-90) put on an amazing game in the last round for Apollon and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 7. The 26-year old forward had a double-double of 17 points and twelve rebounds, while his team edged out Apoel (#3, 4-3) 70-66. Apollon maintains the 5th position in Cypriot Division A. JDA Dijon Bourgogne (ProA) is close to sign 31-year old Cypriot international power forward Anthony King (206-110kg-85, college: Miami, FL) who played last time at Gaziantep Basketbol in Turkey.
