Head Coach Michalis Tsangarides and Omonoia decided to do their first transfer move, and what a move in no time five players became Green! The following players have signed already their contract and agree financial terms with the team from Nicosia:
Jamar Diggs (187-G-88, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management, college: Wofford), the American guard had a solid rookie season in the German league and is expected to help his team with his scoring, his assisting and his accurate organising abilities as he can play both point and shooting guard.
Jeremy Allen (193-G-88, college: FIU) , the American swingman in his rookie season decided to start his career in the Nicosia team. He ended his season as a started in the FIU where he had 14 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists where he was the fourth "stealer" of the league with his nearly 3 steals per game.
Anthony Lee-Ingram (198-F-88, agency: SDJ Sports, college: Brescia, KY), the American forward was the third top scorer in the Norwegian league last season where with the jersey of Asker Aliens was scoring 21 points per game while he was the top rebounder as his 12.1 rebounds gave him the top place in the league.
The Greek power forward Konstantinos Siapkas, ex player of Makabi in the third Division of the Greek league, is a strong player with a 2.04cm height and is expected to assist his team as the second power forward of the team
The Cypriot guard Kyriakos Kilaras (188-G-87) he was among the stand outs of the second division league as he played a number of seasons in at least 2-3 teams, after leaving the team of U21 of APOEL.

AEK Larnaca lift Cup trophy - 15 hours ago
AEK Larnaca overcame Keravnos 62:58 in the Final of the Cyprus Cup to lift up the trophy. AEK needed the final push at the end of the game to seal the victory. They opened the game with a 20-10 lead, but the opponents replied with a massive 22-9 surge in the second frame. AEK reduced the gap with a 15-13 rally in the third quarter and won the game due to 18-13 run in the last stanza. Primoz Brezec (216-F/C-79) stepped up with 19 points to pace all the winners. Aek beats Keravnos and wins the Cup - 2 hours ago
Aek succeeds a great win over Keravnos and wins the Cup Final with 62-58. In a close game in which both teams were bad behind the 3-point line (Aek had 7 in 24 and Keravnos 4 in 20) Primoz Brezec(216-F/C-79) finished the game with 19 and Dasic with 11 pts. In the loosing squad Ross had 16 and Abukar 13 pts. Both teams had around the same 2 point FG percentage (57% and 53% respectively) with Keravnos being way better from the FT line (Keravnos had 12 in 15 whereas Aek had 7 in 18)....   [read more]

AEK Larnaca and Keravnos enter the Cup Final in Cyprus. They overcame their opponents in the semifinals clashes last night. AEK Larnaca edged Apoel 80-65 mostly dominating the first half.
