In a game which took place on Friday the 19th of October and was actually the first oficial game of the season and under the great coaching of the veteran Serbian ex player of Keravnos, Vladimir Zaric (197-G/F-72) who took over the coaching of the Women's team of Keravnos Strovolou, the Strovolos team beat the last season's triple crowner team of AEL Limassol and won the Super cup after 5 years. The result of the game was 57-48

A great game from the veteran Antonia Antonia Makri (174-G/F-79) who came back to the courts after nearly two years of trying her career as a head coach. Antonia scored 24 points and was the MVP of the Super cup.

Keravnos won his 8th Super Cup but fist one after the season 2006-2007. It is worth mentioned the fact that the Limassol team played with three foreigners while the team of Keravnos Strovolou had only the young Greek player Maria Gramatikopoulou.

The quarters of the game were: 14-13, 31-23, 41-37, 57-48.

The scorers for the two teams were as follows:

AEL Limassol (Palalas): Oikonomidou 4, Menelaou 5, Kalia Papadopoulou (166-G-80) 14, Maria Gouma (178-F-80) 6, Monica Gavriloska (190-F/C-76) 8, Pittaka 2 and Marija Boscovic 8 (1).
