The team of Proteas DaNoi AEL Limassol with the newcomer Americans as "secret weapons" since no one knew about them, beat the team of Ydra Asfalistiki ENAD in a game which reached nearly the 20 points difference in the first half. AEL dominated in all edges and with the American swingman Jerel Allen (193-G/F-85, college: Florida St.) in the leading role and in his first double-double figures with 13 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Orion Outerbridge (205-F-88, college: Rhode Island) with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the always solid Milutin Aleksic (203-F-82) with 14 points, beat ENAD of Coach Stylianidis with 69-60 and actually added its first victory since the period 2010-2011!! Since during the last season the Limassol team had no victories at all and end up in the very last place of the legue with no points and no wins...

Coach Christos Stylianidis saw the Cyprus International swingman Kounas being the only player with a winning attitude in the game since all the foreigners were below average with only exception the always solid veteran
Lewis Sims (203-F/C-73, college: New Orleans) who ended the game with 10 points and 7 rebounds. The other American players of Agio Dometios team scored single digits with Juke and Wilson adding 7 points and Bennet just 3
AEL Limassol had another good player in its roster which up until the time of the game no-one knew, the American swingman
Ruben Guillandeaux (198-G-88, college: La Salle) who may scored just 8 points but his assistance in the rebounding area, he gathered 7 rebounds and his 2 assists were more than helpful for the team of Coach Asonitis

The quarters were: 19-13, 37-31, 58-44 and the final 69-60

Top scorers:

AEL: Jerel Allen 13, Milutin Aleksic 14, and Orion Outerbridge 18

ENAD: Vassilis Kounas (194-G-84), Sims 10

Koutsoloukas is back at Enosis - 2 days ago

Enosis Neon Paralimni (Division A) signed 30-year old Cypriot ex-international center Panagiotis Koutsoloukas (208-86).
