Jeremy Allen

The biggest surprise of tis first week's results was undoubtedly the road win of Omonoia over Pizza Express Apollon with the amazing 87-101 in a game which ended some hours ago.
The team of Nicosia started the game with a slow tempo and the result in the first period was 16-16 for Apollon with Jason Detrick (195-SF-80, agency: Three Eye Sports, college: Oklahoma) scoring the six points for his team and Jeremy Allen (193-G-88, college: FIU) being the top scorer of Omonoia as he scored also 6 points. The second period though was much different for both teams, as the visiting site with Lee- Ingram in amazing shape took the lead 3 minutes before the end and kept it all the way untill the end of the first half with 38-43 and Anthony Lee-Ingram (198-F-88, agency: SDJ Sports, college: Brescia, KY) to reaching the 18 points while his team mate Anthony Lamar was following from a close distance as he scored until that minute 14 points. On the other hand, the home team was not at it best with only MaJic Dorsey (185-PG-81, agency: Three Eye Sports, college: S.Indiana) being in the position to really help his team (10 points) and Noel to follow from a close distance (7 points) while Jason Detrick remained in a low level as in the second period scored just a three pointer (total of 9 points)

In the third period, the players of Omonoia continue their offensive recital and with Jeremy Allen in the leading role (scored 23 points by the end of this period) increase their lead and the difference on the game went up to 14 points 50-64. A very solid job in both edges was performed also by Jamar Diggs (187-G-88, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management, college: Wofford), as the point guard of Omonoia not only he was scoring in the paint quite easily but he was also very good in the rebounding area and in the organizing of the game as his nearly triple double was missed only by 2 assists.

The fourth period was the best for the Nicosia team as in a game with no defenses the run and gun style was suited for the three American scorers of Omonoia so with Anthony Lee-Ingram in the leading role (this time) the team of Omonoia scored nearly 40 points in this period, in fact 37 points to win the game finally with 14 points difference in the most productive game of the week in the First division as the other three games ended in just 60 points....

The periods were: 16-15, 38-43, 50-64 and 87-101

The top scorers of the game were:
Apollon: Jason Detrick 24 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists, Diego Kapelan (190-G-87, college: McNeese St.) 13, MaJic Dorsey 10, Brandon 13 and Robinson 10
Omonoia: Anthony Lee-Ingram 33 points and 5 assists, Jeremy Allen 27 points and 9 rebounds, Jamar Diggs, 20 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists.
