31-year old swingman Michal Kremen (200-G/F-81) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Apoel and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4.
He had the game-high 15 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Apoel in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Omonia (3-1) with 28-point margin 102-74. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Apoel is placed at 2nd position in Cypriot league. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Apoel will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Kremen as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Michal Kremen averages this season 7.0ppg.

Second best performed player last round was Anthony Lee-Ingram (195-F-88, agency: SDJ Sports) of Omonia. He is American forward in his first season at Omonia. In the last game Lee-Ingram recorded impressive double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Omonia lost that game 74-102 to slightly higher-ranked Apoel (3-1). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Omonia still maintains its place in the top 3 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team's 3-1 record is not bad at all. Lee-Ingram is a newcomer at Omonia and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.8ppg (#2). He also registered 9.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Tony Crocker (201-G/F-87) of league's leader Keravnos. Crocker scored 24 points and grabbed six rebounds. He was a key player of Keravnos, leading his team to a 83-58 easy win against ENAD (#8, 0-4). Keravnos started extremely well this year. They recorded 4 victories without losing a single game. Crocker turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Crocker has a great season in Cyprus. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 14.7ppg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Bobby Maze (191-PG-86) of Keravnos - 12 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists
5. Orion Outerbridge (205-F-88) of AEL - 22 points and 9 rebounds
6. Milutin Aleksic (203-F-82) of AEL - 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Marvin Jefferson (206-C-86) of Apollon - 16 points and 8 rebounds
8. Christodoulos Kaskiris (207-F/C-79) of ENAD - 9 points and 11 rebounds
9. Porter Troupe (196-G-83) of Apoel - 18 points and 2 rebounds
10. Dante Stiggers (188-PG-82) of Apoel - 13 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Wee 6: Keravnos was the boss and dominated in Paralimni!! - 7 days ago

During the 6th week Keravnos Strovolou (who's currently in the first position of the league after six games with a 5-1 record) dominated at all edges and got a small revenge from Paralimni is the team of Coach Papadopoulos was the one and only to force the Strovolos team (during the first round) to suffer their only (until now) defeat in the competition.
