With :26 seconds left Cyril Akpomedah buried a fast-break three pointer for Gravelines to give them a one-point lead at 88-87. However Dave Noel of Pizza Express Apollon Limassol went to the free-throw line with :11 seconds left and calmly sank both attempts, giving the home squad the lead again at 89-88. A buzzer-beating three-point attempt by Byucks missed the mark and Pizza Express Apollon Limassol escaped with their first group victory (1-2) while dropping Gravelines to 2-1.
