Avis Wyatt
Michelin Etha Engomis Nicosia (Division A) agreed terms with 29-year old American power forward Avis Avis Wyatt (211-C/F-84, college: Virginia St.) (211-100kg-84, college: Virginia State). He just played at Ikaros in Greek A1 league. In 11 games this season he had 5.0ppg and 3.4rpg. The last season Avis Wyatt played at GasTerra Flames Groningen (Eredivisie) in Dutch Eredivisie. In 37 games last year he recorded 8.4ppg, 5.9rpg, 1.4apg, 1.0spg and 1.6bpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. Quite impressive season as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Dutch Eredivisie Honorable Mention. Avis Wyatt also played 6 games in Eurocup where he recorded 8.7ppg, 4.8rpg, 1.0apg, 2.5spg and 2.0bpg.
The previous (10-11) season he played at Proteas Danoi AEL Limassol. In 11 Division A games that season he recorded 11.6ppg, 5.5rpg, 1.1apg, 1.2spg and 2.1bpg.
In 2007 Avis Wyatt was drafted by Minot Skyrockets (CBA) in fifth round (48th overall).
The former Virginia State (NCAA Div.II) standoutis in his sixth season in pro basketball.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as Avis Wyatt played in the final of Cyprus League in 2011. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Cyprus League 1st Team in 2011.
Avis Wyatt has played previously professionally in Israel (Ironi Ashkelon) and Holland (ABC Amsterdam).

27-year old forward Jake O'Brien (206-F-89, agency: HMS) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Keravnos and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 11. He had a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds, while his team crushed Etha (#6, 2-9) with 25-point margin 92-67. It allowed Keravnos to consolidate first place in the Cypriot league. An interesting game for Apoel (6-5) which hosted in Nicosia 4th placed Enosis (4-7). Third ranked Apoel managed to get a 5-point victory 78-73. Enosis was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game.
