Etha edged the team of its ex Coach Konstantinidis with 97-86 and booked a place in the top three teams of the league in the regular season. The man of the match for another one game was C.J. Williams (195-G, college: N.Carolina St.) who was a in the zone and killed every hope for Apoel and its players to demand anything better than the fourth position of the regular season. The game begun with the visiting site being more aggressive and leading the game with a 0-6, but Etha reacted and with solid offense mainly by C.J. Williams ended the first period with 25-20. The second period was even better for the home team since C.J. Williams continue his offensive crescent and was unstoppable, so the deficit for Apoel was getting bigger and bigger and by the end of the first half the score went to 48-39.
Apoel was more aggressive in the third period but the only gain for the visiting site of Coach konstantinidis was the -5 points with Michael Mokongo (180-PG-86) being the strong point for Apoel. The amazing comeback from Etha though took the difference once more to +14 but once again Brandon Ewing (187-G-86, agency: Interperformances, college: Wyoming) and Troupe helped Apoel to cut the deficit once mroe to 70-65 by the end of the thrid period and have some chances in the the fourth one.
Apoel's total recall took palce in the first five minutes of the last period when Kremen and Morisson added some strength in the forward positions and Apoel took the lead at 3438'' with76-75. Etha reacted and with Ivan Maras (207-PF-86, agency: Beo Basket) and C.J. Williams in the leading roles succeeded a 9-0 and took the victory at the end quite easier than thought at the beggining of the last peiord. The periods were as follows: 25-20, 48-39, 70-65, 97-86. Mineros de Cananea (CIBACOPA) added to their roster 24-year old American guard Jaron Jones (198-89, college: E.Kentucky). He played this season at Apollon in Cypriot Division A, but left the team in Dec.'12. In only one game he recorded 9 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal. Jones was voted All-OVC 2nd Team in 2012 at his college time.

Royal Aera Excelsior Brussels (Division II) inked 22-year old American forward Brandon Ubel (208-106kg-91). He just graduated from Nebraska (NCAA). In 31 games he recorded 11.5ppg, 6.7rpg and 1.6apg this season. The last season Ubel also at the University of Nebraska in Big Ten Conference in the NCAA. In 30 games he averaged 6.7ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.3apg.
