The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Nicosia: Keravnos (#1) and ENAD (#6). Keravnos (8-0) crushed visiting ENAD (1-7) by 55 points 97-42. The game without a history. Keravnos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ENAD to just 7 points in third quarter. Undefeated Keravnos have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-0 record. ENAD lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with seven games lost. Keravnos are looking forward to face Apollon (#3) in Limassol in the next round, which may be the game of the day. ENAD will play at home against APOP Paphou and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An interesting game for AEL Limassol (6-2) which played road game in Paphou against 4th placed APOP Paphou (4-4). Second ranked AEL Limassol managed to get a 10-point victory 70-60. Defending champion maintains second place with 6-2 record having just two points less than leader Keravnos. APOP Paphou at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. AEL Limassol will play against bottom-ranked AEK (#7) in Larnaca in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
