The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Nicosia: Keravnos (#2) and ENAD (#4). ENAD was crushed at home by 18 points 40-58 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of ENAD. The game without a history. Keravnos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ENAD to just 6 points in first quarter. Keravnos maintains second place with 6-1 record behind leader AEL Limassol. ENAD at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. Keravnos are looking forward to face bottom-ranked AEK (#6) in Larnaca in the next round. ENAD's supporters also look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Nicosia APOEL.
Division A top team - AEL Limassol (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked APOEL (1-6) in Nicosia 78-31. Undefeated AEL Limassol have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. APOEL lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with six games lost. AEL Limassol's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Limassol to the arena Apollon.
Bottom-ranked AEK (0-7) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to third ranked Apollon (4-3) 71-50 on Sunday evening. Apollon maintains third place with 4-3 record having just three points less than leader AEL Limassol. AEK lost their seventh game in a row. They still close the standings with seven games lost. Apollon's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Limassol AEL Limassol.

APOEL - AEL Limassol 31-78

Division A top team - AEL Limassol (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked APOEL (1-6) in Nicosia 78-31. The game without a history. AEL Limassol led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding APOEL to just 6 points in first and second quarters and to 12 points in first half. AEL Limassol have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. APOEL lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with six games lost. AEL Limassol's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Limassol to the arena Apollon.

GS Kronos Agiou Dimitriou (A2) signed experienced 34-year old Cypriot guard Eleana Pantazi (177-83). It is actually her comeback to Kronos as she has played here before. Pantazi will still stay in Greece where she played last season at PAOK Thessalonikis in the A1. In 21 games she had 4.3ppg and 1.1rpg. Keravnos Strovolou (Division A) landed 31-year old Greek international guard Niki Avery (168-86, college: E.Kentucky, agency: Interperformances). She has a double citizenship as she also holds American passport. Avery played most recently at Panathinaikos in Greek A1 league.
