The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute surprises and upsets.

An interesting game for Keravnos (15-2) which hosted in Strovolos 3rd placed Apoel (9-8). First ranked Keravnos managed to get a 9-point victory 78-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Apoel. The hosts trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 9 points. Keravnos looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American point guard Ronald Ross (188-83, college: Texas Tech) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 assists. American-Somalian forward Mohamed Abukar (208-85, college: San Diego St., agency: Two Points) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Brandon Mobley (206-91, college: Seton Hall, agency: HMS) answered with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for Apoel. Keravnos maintains first place with 15-2 record. Apoel at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Keravnos are looking forward to face Enosis (#4) in Paralimni in the next round. Apoel will play at home against the league's second-placed AEK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

American point guard Eric Washington (178-93, college: Miami, OH) stepped up and scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and Jarvis Ray chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Papa Suleiman (207-98) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Apollon's coach Lukas Antoniou gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Enosis maintains fourth place with 8-9 record. Apollon lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Etha. Enosis will play against league's leader Keravnos in Strovolos in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Apollon will play at home against Etha (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Vladimir Dasic nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. AEK's coach Linos Gavriel used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Baden Jaxen came up with 35 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 5 assists for Etha in the defeat. AEK have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains second place with 13-4 record having just two points less than leader Keravnos. Etha lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. They share it with Apollon. AEK will meet Apoel (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Etha will play against Apollon in Limassol and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Keravnos - Apoel 78-69

Apollon - Enosis 47-78

The game in Limassol supposed to be also worth to mention about. Fourth ranked Enosis (8-9) played at the court of 5th ranked Apollon (3-14). Enosis smashed Apollon 78-47. It looked good early as Apollon took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Enosis had a 23-15 second period charge getting the lead and Apollon was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 47-78. Enosis dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Apollon's 22. Enosis forced 23 Apollon turnovers and outrebounded them 43-32 including 17 on the offensive glass. American point guard Eric Washington (178-93, college: Miami, OH) stepped up and scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and his fellow American import guard Jarvis Ray (198-90, college: TCU) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Enosis players scored in double figures. Etha - AEK 75-89

Keravnos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Enosis' 28 and made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game.
