Pigram
Tadamon Zouk (Pepsi LBL) landed 32-year old American guard Courtney Pigram (185-85, college: East Tennessee State). He started the season at Petrolina AEK Larnaca in Cypriot Division A. In 15 games he averaged 11.4ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.1apg and 1.0spg this season. Pigram also played 1 game in FIBA Europe Cup where he had just 2 points, 5 assists and 1 steal. The last season he played at Al Hilal (SBL) in Saudi Arabian league.
In 2011 (two years after he left the college) Pigram was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in fifth round (9th overall).
He attended East Tennessee State until 2009 and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
Pigram's college team won A-Sun Tournament in 2009.
He is a very experienced player. Pigram has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Pigram has played previously professionally in China (Heilongjiang), Germany (Braunschweig and s Oliver Baskets), Greece (Ilysiakos), Iran (Shahrdari Gorgan), Qatar (Al Arabi), Spain (Andorra) and D-League (Maine Red Claws).
His game is described as: 'Heart of a Champion' NBA Level scoring combo guard with unbelievable range and a great upside. Has been in several NBA camps and workouts since a (Jr.) in NCAA. Bobcats Head Coach Larry Brown invited him in. Was the A-Sun Player of the Yr. as a sophomore. Lead ETSU to the NCAA Tournament. Honored as Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB.
