Robert Brown
JP-Auto Jaszbereny KSE (A Division) added to their roster 25-year old American guard Robert Brown (196-86kg-92, college: UAB, agency: Two Points). He played last season at Apoel in Cypriot Division A. In 24 games he recorded 10.4ppg, 2.9rpg, 3.1apg and 1.0spg. Brown helped them to make it to the Supercup final. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to All-Cyprus League Honorable Mention. Brown also played 12 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged 11.3ppg, 3.8rpg, 2.4apg and 1.5spg.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Brown's team won C-USA Regular Season in 2016. He was also voted NABC All-District 11 1st Team in 2016 at his college time.
Brown has played also professionally in .
He attended University of Alabama at Birmingham until 2016 and it will be his second season as a professional player.
On Brown: Prototypical wing scorer. Great athleticism and bounce. Shoots the ball with range. Has potential to be an outstanding defender. Plays well above the rim. Has the ability to slash, attack and make plays. Scores the ball with ease.
(His agency in 2017):
Boasting an impressive 7'1 wing span, elite athleticism and shooting, Robert is a bright young fringe NBA prospect. Has a penchant for dominance in important games as shown in UAB's 2015 NCAA Tournament biggest upset over 3rd ranked Iowa St. Great scoring guard, but elite competitor defensively who uses his length very well to get in passing lanes and get steals. Scored 30pts in the 2nd half of his last game at UAB

AEK Larnakas beat Keravnos Strovolou on the opening day - 2 days ago
The first derby of the season went to AEK Larnakas who showed (after the super cup triumph) who's going to be the boss this season in the Cyprus league. The final score 84-75 is totally fair as AEK Larnakas had a much better rotation that their opponents, since Coach Leivadiotis for another game this season preferred to go on a very short rotation with just seven players (Anthony King was absent) while the Cyprus Coach used Barker for 38!! Minutes, Parks for 32 and from then and on Abukar...   [read more]
