American Thaddeus McFadden (188-G-87, agency: Stanley International) had an amazing evening in the last round for Usti n/Labem and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 24-year old guard had the game-high 29 points adding five rebounds and six assists for Usti n/Labem in his team's victory, helping them to beat Levice (#8, 10-15) 71-63. Usti n/Labem maintains the 11th position in Czech Republic NBL. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Usti n/Labem have already lost 18 games and recorded just seven victories. In the team's last game McFadden had a remarkable 84.6% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Usti n/Labem and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Fairmont State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. McFadden is in league's top in points (6th best: 17.3ppg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 50.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old American guard Derek Wright (175-G-86) of NH Ostrava. Wright impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 10 assists. Of course NH Ostrava cruised to a 84-76 relatively comfortable win over slightly lower-ranked Svitavy (#9, 9-16). NH Ostrava's 7th position in has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 13-12 record is not bad and everything may still change. Wright is a newcomer at NH Ostrava and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 11.6ppg (#4). He also recorded 4.2 assists per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Andrew Naymick (211-C-85, agency: Warren Sports International) of top-ranked CEZ Nymburk. Naymick scored 19 points and grabbed twelve rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of CEZ Nymburk, leading his team to a 84-77 win against the lower-ranked USK Praha (#6, 14-11). Many experts and fans count CEZ Nymburk as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 24 victories and only one lost games. They are currently at the very top of the standings in . Naymick has a great season in Czech Republic. After 13 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 8.7rpg (2nd best). He also has 1.7bpg and FGP: 61.7%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Boris Meno (203-F-83) of Svitavy - 18 points and 15 rebounds
5. Marcus Arnold (207-C/F-84) of BK Pardubice - 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Peter Sedmak (207-C-85) of USK Praha - 28 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists

10. Jamar Smith (191-G-87) of BK Prostejov - 26 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
