Center Lenka Vetrovcova (188-C-84) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Trutnov, receiving a Player of the Week award for round 10 (Second Stage).
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds, while her team Trutnov maintains the 3rd position in Czech Republic ZBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier in Second Stage. Trutnov will need to avoid more loses keep or improve their 19-13 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Vetrovcova as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Lenka Vetrovcova has solid league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 7.9rpg) and averages impressive 56.4% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was -year old Sarka Kucerova (181-F) of Karlovy Vary. Kucerova had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 18 rebounds. It was enough for Karlovy Vary to edge slightly higher-ranked Valosun Brno (16-16) in overtime 83-78. This victory allowed Karlovy Vary to move up to -4th position in Group A2. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But 16-16 record is not bad and everything may still change. Kucerova is well-known at Karlovy Vary and is a proven leader in her second season with the team.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Marshae Dotson (180-F-87) of VSE Praha (#-2). Dotson scored 20 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Dotson's great performance VSE Praha lost 63-66 to #-1 ranked Pardubice. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of VSE Praha not to end season at such low position in Group A2, however are less than slim as they have already lost 22 games, recording just ten victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Dotson could try to bring VSE Praha's a little bit higher in the standings. Dotson has individually a great season in Czech Republic. After 23 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.3ppg (4th best) and rebounds with 10.3rpg (2nd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Hana Snajdrova-Ziklova (183-F-80) of Trutnov - 14 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Alena Hanusova (189-F/C-91) of Frisco Sika - 24 points and 6 rebounds
6. Delisha Milton-Jones (186-F-74) of USK Praha - 21 points and 5 rebounds
7. Jana Houdkova (177-G-87) of Karlovy Vary - 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
