Last season she reached EuroCup Quarterfinals -12 and became Slovakian Extraliga Finalist -12. Togethher with her team she was Slovakian Extraliga Regular Season Runner-Up -12 and was named Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian Extraliga 1st Team -12. Kamila Stepanova also was awarded Eurobasket.com Slovakian Extraliga All-Imports Team -12. Kamila Stepanova recorded 22 points twice during the season. At first she scored 22 points versus Samorin in Round 1 and then had the same number of points against the same team in Round 16.

Marta Xargay Casademont (181-PG-90) chipped in 12 points, while Anete Steinberga (190-C-90, college: UTEP, agency: LBM Management) and Tereza Vyoralova (175-SG-94) added 9 points each for the winners. Geraldine Robert (183-F/C-80) responded with 18 points for Lattes Montpellier. Gaelle Skrela (177-G-83) tossed in 10 points in the loss.

Here is the weekly review of the top performing Czech Republic players, who play currently abroad. This week's number one is former international power forward Romana Stehlikova (189-85). She was the major contributor in a Good Angels' victory against one of league's weakest teams Banska Bystrica in the Slovakian Extraliga in Saturday night's game.

#1. This week's number one is former international power forward Romana Stehlikova (189-85, currently plays in Slovakia). She was the major contributor in a Good Angels' victory against one of league's weakest teams Banska Bystrica (2-7) crushing them 94-41 in the Slovakian Extraliga in Saturday night's game.
Stehlikova recorded 14 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in a mere 18 minutes on the court.
Good Angels Kosice (9-1) is placed first in the Extraliga.
It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row.
Stehlikova has relatively good stats this year: 10.9ppg, 5.2rpg, 2.1apg, 1.9spg, 2FGP: 60.3%(35-58), 3FGP: 23.8% and FT: 68.4% in nine games she played so far.
She played for the Czech Republic senior national team eight years ago.
#2. Second place goes to an international swingman Romana Hejdova (184-88, currently plays in France). Hejdova led Hainaut to a victory over one of league's weakest teams Angers (2-6) 71-56 in the French LFB last Sunday.
She was MVP of the game. Hejdova scored 26 points (!!!).
Union Saint-Amand Porte du Hainaut (2-6) is placed tenth in the LFB.
They ended the series of four consecutive loses.
This season Hejdova averages: 9.8ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.6apg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 46.9%, 3FGP: 42.1%.
She played for the Czech Republic national team in 2015.
#3. The Czech Republic player who performed third best last week abroad was an international forward Michaela Stejskalova (186-87, currently plays in Spain). Stejskalova could not help Gran Canaria (5-5) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Gran Canaria was edged in an overtime 92-91 on the road by the lower-ranked (#9) Universitario de Ferrol.
Stejskalova was the top scorer with 17 points. She also added 4 rebounds and 3 assists in 40 minutes.
This year Stejskalova has relatively solid stats: 12.8ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.3apg, 2FGP: 40.4%, 3FGP: 24.4% and FT: 70.2% in 10 games.
She played for the Czech Republic national team one years ago.
#4. Center Kamila Stepanova (191-88, currently plays in France) was not able to help Villeneuve D'Ascq in their game against Bourges (7-1) in the French LFB.
Stepanova scored 7 points.
Villeneuve D'Ascq was defeated 68-62 on the opponent's court by the leading Bourges.
It's Stepanova's first season with the team.

She scored 6 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 25 minutes.
Botasspor Adana (2-3) is placed tenth in the KBSL.
It was her team's first victory after three consecutive loses.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Kulichova is currently fifth on the league's list of best blockers with 1.2bpg.
This year she also averages: 6.2ppg, 8.4rpg, 1.8apg and 1.6spg in five games.

#6. Guard Michaela Stara (175-90, currently plays in Greece) contributed to an Niki Lefkadas' victory against the closely-ranked Panionios (3-3) 61-56 in the Greek A1 on Sunday night.

AS Niki Lefkadas (3-3) is placed sixth in the A1.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
Stara has reliable stats this year: 10.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 1.7apg and 1.5spg.

#7. U20 international center Hana Vesela (193-96, currently plays college basketball in the States) contributed to a Michigan St.'s surprising victory against the Cal State - Northridge 63-59 in the NCAA last Saturday.
She recorded 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
The Michigan State University has conference record this season.
Vesela's overall stats this year are: 5.0ppg and 2.0rpg.
She is also Czech Republic U20 national team player.
#8. An experienced guard Tereza Brantlova (172-82, currently plays in United Kingdom) helped Crusaders win their game against the league outsider Wolves (0-7) 76-60 in the British WBBL on Sunday night.
Brantlova recorded 17 points, 4 assists and 6 steals in 30 minutes.
Barking Abbey Crusaders (4-2) is placed fifth in the WBBL.
Brantlova averaged so far 11.0ppg, 2.2apg and 1.8spg in five games.
She used to play for the Czech Republic U20 national team
back in 2002.
#9. International swingman Petra Zaplatova (175-91, currently plays in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for Rotenburg/Scheessel (3-7) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Zaplatova's good performance Rotenburg/Scheessel was defeated 75-61 in Keltern by the much higher-ranked Gruner Stern (#3).

#10. Small forward Katerina Zohnova (179-84, currently plays in Poland) couldn't help Artego Bydgoszcz (5-4) in their game against AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski (7-2) in the Polish TBLK. Zohnova cannot count Sunday's game as one of the best ones.
She scored only 3 points in 19 minutes.
Artego Bydgoszcz was edged 69-67 in Gorzow Wlkp. by the second-ranked AZS Gorzow Wielkopolski.

Pochobradska is ranked sixth on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of best rebounders (fifth place).

It's Vaughn's second year at BLK Praha and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Virginia Commonwealth University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Vaughn is league's best scorer averaging so far 21.3ppg. Vaughn is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 8.5rpg) and averages solid 56.2% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 26-year old Latvian center Anete Steinberga (190-C-90, agency: LBM Management) of league's best team USK Praha. Steinberga impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds. Of course she led USK Praha to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Loko Trutnov (#7, 6-6) 83-35. Of course USK Praha still keep the league's top spot. She plays for the best team in the league and USK Praha managed to win all 11 games keeping a perfect record. Steinberga is a newcomer at USK Praha and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.
The third best performed player last round was another USK Praha's star - American Kia Vaughn (193-F/C-87). Vaughn scored 17 points and grabbed eight rebounds. She was another key player of USK Praha, helping her team with a 83-35 easy win against the lower-ranked Loko Trutnov (#7, 6-6). USK Praha have amazing season winning all 11 games without a single defeat. Vaughn turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Vaughn has a great season in Czech Republic. After only 5 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 12.4ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 5.2rpg (3rd best).
