CEZ Nymburk reinforced its roster at position one. The reigning Czech champion penned a deal with American Michael Taylor (188-G-86, agency: Priority Sports, college: Iowa St.). He arrives to the club from Greek Kavala. For 22 games last season Taylor averaged 13.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2 assists. He was awarded with Eurobasket.com Greek A1 League All-Imports Team -12.
In 2010/11 season Michael Taylor played in NBA D-League and Italy. He joined Iowa Energy in February of 2011 registering 10.2 ppg, 3.7 rpg and 2.5 apg for 13 games. Two months later the PG moved to Verona adding 7.3 ppg and 4 rpg in 4 games. In 2009/10 season Taylor played for Crvena Zvezda Belgrade. Before that, he spent one year with the Los Angeles Clippers collecting 5.9 ppg, 2.1 apg and 1.7 rpg in 49 NBA games. The player graduated at Iowa State University in 2007 and spent his first pro season with D-League team Idaho Stampede.
