Czech Republic triumphs at Four Nations Cup in Estonia. The team won all three games against their opponents and rightfully clinched the top position. In Day 1 Czech Republic beat the East Coast All Stars team from the United States in the start of Four Nations Cup in Tallinn. The European team won over the USA representative 108:86. In Day 2 Czech Republic over won Estonia 72:70 in a thrilling game. Petr Benda (203-F/C-82, agency: Court Side) led the winners with 18 points and 10 rebounds, Jiri Welsch added 16 points incl. deciding free throws with 7 seconds to play. Siim-Sander Vene (203-F-90, agency: Alti Sport) led the hosts with 13 pts and 10 rbs. Gregor Arbet added 12, Kristjan Kangur (201-F-82) 11 points, Sten Sokk 6 points and 10 assists. Czechs dominated the rebounding 46:26. In Day 3 Czech Republic overcame Georgia 79:68. The latter started the game with 22-14, but lost the second frame 12-20. Czech Republic erupted with 27-13 in the third period and grabbed 14-point victory. Georgia replied with 21-18 in the last stanza for the final result. David Jelinek (196-G-90) top-scored for the winners with 22 points, while Jakub Houska (206-C-82) and Stefan Licartovsky (196-G/F-84) added 10 apiece. Manuchar Markoishvili (195-G-86) replied with 14 points, whilst Tornike Shengelia (207-F-91), Nika Metreveli and Jacob Pullen notched 12 each. Jakub Houska was named the best player of the team.

#1. This week's number one is an international center Ondrej Balvin (216-92, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB. He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Balvin also added 7 rebounds in 29 minutes on the court.
The Regular Season already ended.
This year Balvin averages: 3.6ppg, 2.9rpg, 2FGP: 59.2%(42-71) and FT: 60.6% in the 29 games he played so far.
He is currently a member of the Czech Republic senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard Pavel Pumprla (198-86, currently plays in Spain). Pumprla led Blusens Monbus to a victory against the closely-ranked Gescrap BB (19-15) 79-73 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday.
He recorded 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
Blusens Monbus Obradoiro CAB (18-16) is placed eighth in the ACB.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Pumprla's first season with the team.
Pumprla's overall stats this year are: 6.5ppg, 3.3rpg, 1.2apg, 1.1spg, 2FGP: 57.6%(76-132), 3FGP: 33.3%.
He is in the roster of the Czech Republic senior national team.
#3. The Czech Republic player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ondrej Balvin and both played together in the last Spanish ACB game.

#4. Center Jiri Hubalek (208-82, agency: Two Points, college: Iowa St., currently plays in Italy) contributed to an Umana Venezia's surprising victory against the league leader Cimberio Varese (23-7) 84-72 in the Italian SerieA in Thursday night's game.
He recorded 6 points.
Umana Reyer Venezia (16-14) is placed eighth in the SerieA.
Hubalek's overall stats this season are: 4.5ppg and 2.7rpg.
He used to play for the Czech Republic national team
back in 2009.
#5. International shooting guard David Jelinek (194-90, currently plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Caja Laboral (25-9) in their game against CB Canarias (17-17) in the Spanish ACB. Jelinek did not have that impressive stats last Sunday.
He recorded only 2 points in 7 minutes on the court.
Caja Laboral lost 94-99 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#10) CB Canarias.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
This year Jelinek averages just 2.3ppg in the 13 games.

#6. Center Tomas Hampl (215-88, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a River Andorra's victory against the sixth-ranked Caceres Basket (12-14) 82-70 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) on Sunday night.
Hampl recorded 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
B.C. River Andorra (20-3) is placed in the LEB Gold.
Hampl's overall stats this season are: 7.3ppg and 3.7rpg.
