Basket Slovanka MB Tabor (ZBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 27-year old Serbian power forward Jelena Budimir (192-85, college: Bethel, TN, agency: LBM Management). Budimir worked out most recently at Galatasaray in Turkish TKBL. Last season she spent with DKSK Miskolc. Budimir played previously professionally in Serbia (Crvena Zvezda and Radnicki Novi Beograd). She graduated from Bethel College, TN in 2009 and it will be her fourth season in pro basketball.

Kara Trutnov keep Lenka Vetrovcova and Katerina Hindrakova for the next season. Both Czech players are happy to stay with their team.

Czech Republic beat Ukraine once again. In Game 2 the Czechs posted a 74:67 victory winning the Rebounds of the game 38-25.
Czech Republic opened the game with 22-16 and increased to 15 points at the halftime. The board showed 42:27 when the teams disappeared in the lockers.
