International forward Tereza Peckova (187-F-87) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader IMOS Brno and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 25-year old forward had a double-double of 26 points and thirteen rebounds, while her team crushed Lokomotiva (#8, 1-2) with 19-point margin 77-58. It allowed IMOS Brno to consolidate first place in the Czech Republic ZBL. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but IMOS Brno already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. It's Peckova's second year at IMOS Brno and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Peckova has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (3rd best: 11.0rpg).

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 23-year old American guard Ashleigh Fontenette (172-G-89) of Valosun Brno. Fontenette impressed basketball fans with 27 points and 8 rebounds. Bad luck as Valosun Brno lost that game 86-91 to Trutnov (3-0). The season is still at the very beginning and this lost game may not be such crucial, of course if they start win the games. Let's wait for the next round. Fontenette is a newcomer at Valosun Brno and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.0ppg (#2). She also registered 6.0 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Baendu Lowenthal (183-F-88) of VSE Praha (#12). Lowenthal scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Despite Lowenthal's great performance VSE Praha lost 69-91 to Hradec Kralove (#4, 2-1). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. VSE Praha can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 3 games. Too bad for Lowenthal she does not play for a better team. But maybe if she did, her season stats would not be that high. Lowenthal has a very solid season. In 3 games in Czech Republic she scored 15.3ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Michaela Hartigova (192-C-83) of Hradec Kralove - 16 points and 11 rebounds
5. Katerina Elhotova (180-SG-89) of USK Praha - 26 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Marshae Dotson (180-F-87) of VS Praha - 15 points and 12 rebounds
7. Ambrosia Anderson (186-F-84) of Trutnov - 28 points and 3 rebounds
8. Melissa D'Amico (195-C-86) of DSK Karlin - 20 points and 9 rebounds
9. Nicole Ohlde (193-F/C-82) of IMOS Brno - 19 points and 7 rebounds
10. Katerina Hindrakova (176-G/F-88) of Trutnov - 21 points and 3 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
