After taking care of USK Praha on Friday night 81-66 in domestic NBL play, CEZ Nymburk traveled on Sunday to Russia for their opening round Group B game against Nizhny Novgorod. The results were not favorable, as the host team took control of the game in the second quarter, outscoring the Czech Champions 25-8 to take a commanding 44-23 lead into the half and then cruised to a comfortable 82-66 home victory. Nymburk could not recover in the second half as they fell to 0-1. Aubrey Coleman (193-G-87, college: Houston) was the leading scorer for the game with 20 points, but on 5-16 shooting from the field. Obie Trotter (188-PG-84, college: Alabama A&M) led a balanced attack for Nizhny Novgorod, scoring a team high 14 points, one of six Nizhny Novgorod players to tally double-figures. #1. This week's number one is an international center Ondrej Balvin (216-92, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish ACB. He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Balvin also added 7 rebounds in 29 minutes on the court.
The Regular Season already ended.

He is currently a member of the Czech Republic senior national team.
#2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard Pavel Pumprla (198-86, currently plays in Spain). Pumprla led Blusens Monbus to a victory against the closely-ranked Gescrap BB (19-15) 79-73 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday.
He recorded 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
Blusens Monbus Obradoiro CAB (18-16) is placed eighth in the ACB.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
It's Pumprla's first season with the team.

#3. The Czech Republic player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ondrej Balvin and both played together in the last Spanish ACB game.

#4. Center Jiri Hubalek (208-82, agency: Two Points, college: Iowa St., currently plays in Italy) contributed to an Umana Venezia's surprising victory against the league leader Cimberio Varese (23-7) 84-72 in the Italian SerieA in Thursday night's game.
He recorded 6 points.
Umana Reyer Venezia (16-14) is placed eighth in the SerieA.
Hubalek's overall stats this season are: 4.5ppg and 2.7rpg.
He used to play for the Czech Republic national team
back in 2009.
#5. International shooting guard David Jelinek (194-90, currently plays in Spain) was not able to secure a victory for Caja Laboral (25-9) in their game against CB Canarias (17-17) in the Spanish ACB. Jelinek did not have that impressive stats last Sunday.
He recorded only 2 points in 7 minutes on the court.
Caja Laboral lost 94-99 on the road to the much lower-ranked (#10) CB Canarias.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial.
This year Jelinek averages just 2.3ppg in the 13 games.
He plays currently for the Czech Republic national team.
#6. Center Tomas Hampl (215-88, currently plays in Spain) contributed to a River Andorra's victory against the sixth-ranked Caceres Basket (12-14) 82-70 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) on Sunday night.
Hampl recorded 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.
B.C. River Andorra (20-3) is placed in the LEB Gold.
Hampl's overall stats this season are: 7.3ppg and 3.7rpg.
He is an international player who is currently on the senior Czech Republic National Team roster.
