After taking care of USK Praha on Friday night 81-66 in domestic NBL play, CEZ Nymburk traveled on Sunday to Russia for their opening round Group B game against Nizhny Novgorod.
The results were not favorable, as the host team took control of the game in the second quarter, outscoring the Czech Champions 25-8 to take a commanding 44-23 lead into the half and then cruised to a comfortable 82-66 home victory.
Nymburk could not recover in the second half as they fell to 0-1.
Aubrey Coleman (193-G-87, college: Houston) was the leading scorer for the game with 20 points, but on 5-16 shooting from the field. Obie Trotter (188-PG-84, college: Alabama A&M) led a balanced attack for Nizhny Novgorod, scoring a team high 14 points, one of six Nizhny Novgorod players to tally double-figures.

This week's number one is an international center Ondrej Balvin (216-92), who plays in the Spanish ACB. He could not help one of league's weakest teams Cajasol (12-22) in their last game.
