The most important game in the last round took place in Kolin between third ranked BC Kolin (6-3) and seventh ranked BK Prostejov (5-4) on Saturday night. BC Kolin was defeated by BK Prostejov in a tough game at home 78-82. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of BC Kolin. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 26-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. 25 personal fouls committed by BC Kolin helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Swingman Jaromir Bohacik (197-92) fired 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Austin Dufault (205-90, college: Colorado) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. American guard Demarius Bolds (190-84, college: Missouri Western, agency: I.D.S. Law) produced 30 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. BC Kolin's coach Predrag Benacek rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BK Prostejov have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. BC Kolin at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. They share it with USK Praha. BK Prostejov are looking forward to face league's leader CEZ Nymburk at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BC Kolin will play against Levharti Chomutov and is hoping to win this game.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BK Pardubice lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with four games lost. CEZ Nymburk will play against BK Prostejov (#5) on the road in the next round. BK Pardubice will play against USK Praha and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Roman Zachrla scored 33 points (!!!) to lead the charge for the winners. At the losing side Jakub Blazek responded with 22 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory BK Lions Hradec went down to thirteenth position due to points difference. Loser B&W Opava dropped to the eleventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with Usti n/Labem. BK Lions Hradec will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. B&W Opava will play against the league's second-placed NH Ostrava (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.

In the last two games of round 10 Levice was defeated by NH Ostrava in a road game 80-67. Svitavy beat Chomutov at home 87-77.
The best stats of 10th round was 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by Michael Deloach of Svitavy.


NH Ostrava - Levice 80-67

There was no surprise when 6th ranked Levice (4-5) was defeated on the road by second ranked NH Ostrava (9-1) 80-67 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 80-67. NH Ostrava looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American point guard Rahsaan Ames (184-78, college: Shaw) had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Martin Gniadek (201-90) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Four NH Ostrava players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Brockeith Pane (188-88, college: Utah St.) responded with 15 points and 6 assists and Slovakian swingman Martin Sykora (192-81) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. NH Ostrava maintains second position with 9-1 record having just -1 point less than leader CEZ Nymburk. Loser Levice dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. NH Ostrava will meet B&W Opava (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Levice will play against BK Usti nad Labem (#12) and hope to secure a win.

We should mention about the upset which took place in J.Hradec, where 9th ranked B&W Opava (2-7) lost to twelfth ranked BK Lions Hradec (2-8) in a road game 84-95 on Saturday. The game without a history. BK Lions Hradec led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. BK Lions Hradec outrebounded B&W Opava 41-29 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The game between closely ranked teams ended with tenth ranked Basketbal Svitavy's (3-6) home victory over 11th ranked Levharti Chomutov (2-6) 87-77 on Saturday.
