The game between Top Four teams took place in Prostejov. Third ranked host BK Prostejov (8-6) smashed second-ranked NH Ostrava (12-2) 95-65. The game was mostly controlled by BK Prostejov. NH Ostrava managed to win second period 28-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding NH Ostrava to just 7 points in fourth quarter. BK Prostejov made 36-of-46 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game, while NH Ostrava only scored nineteen points from the stripe. They outrebounded NH Ostrava 41-23 including a 34-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. 32 personal fouls committed by NH Ostrava helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Slovakian Dusan Pandula (196-84) had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international Kamil Svrdlik (206-86, college: Fair Dickinson) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. American point guard Rahsaan Ames (184-78, college: Shaw) responded with 14 points. NH Ostrava's coach Dusan Medvecky gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. BK Prostejov have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 8-6 record having six points less than leader CEZ Nymburk, which they share with BC Kolin. NH Ostrava at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. BK Prostejov is looking forward to face BK Usti nad Labem (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. NH Ostrava will play against Levharti Chomutov (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
NBL top team - CEZ Nymburk (14-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Basketbal Svitavy (4-10) 93-55. American guard Michael Taylor (188-86, college: Iowa St.) notched 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and Lukas Palyza supported him with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Even 10 points and 9 rebounds by Polish center Pawel Mroz (215-84) did not help to save the game for Basketbal Svitavy. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Undefeated CEZ Nymburk have an impressive 14-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-0 record. Basketbal Svitavy lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with ten games lost. CEZ Nymburk will play against USK Praha (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Chomutov - J.Hradec 84-79

Very expected game when 13th ranked BK Lions Hradec (3-11) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Levharti Chomutov (6-8) 84-79. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. BK Lions Hradec was ahead by 5 points at the halftime before a 25-13 third quarter run of Levharti Chomutov. BK Lions Hradec was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward John Fields (205-88, college: Tennessee) notched 30 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Showron Glover (180-87) supported him with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Even a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) by center Radim Kramny (215-85) did not help to save the game for BK Lions Hradec. Forward Roman Zachrla (200-87) added 17 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Four BK Lions Hradec players scored in double figures. BK Lions Hradec's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Levharti Chomutov have a solid three-game winning streak.
