American Kia Vaughn (193-C-87) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader USK Praha and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 18. The 25-year old center had a double-double of 23 points and eighteen rebounds, while her team beat VSE Praha (#6, 9-9) 102-90. It allowed USK Praha to consolidate first place in the Czech Republic ZBL. USK Praha has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 17-1. Vaughn turned to be USK Praha's top player in her first season with the team. Rutgers, The State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Vaughn is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 8.6rpg) and averages solid 60.5% FGP.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international center Alena Hanusova (19-C-91) of second-ranked IMOS Brno. Hanusova impressed basketball fans with 25 points and 7 rebounds. Of course she lead IMOS Brno to another comfortable win 81-67 over the lower-ranked DSK Karlin (#11, 3-15) being unquestionably team leader. IMOS Brno's second position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost just two games this season, while they won 16 matches. Hanusova is one of the most experienced players at IMOS Brno and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.
The third best performed player last round was American Ambrosia Anderson (186-F-84) of Trutnov (#4). Anderson scored 25 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Trutnov, leading her team to a 94-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Strakonice (#10, 5-13). Trutnov needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 7 lost games. Anderson has a great season in Czech Republic. After 18 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.3ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 9.4rpg (3rd best). She also has 2.6spg and FGP: 55.2%.

This season with Valosun KP Brno (Czech Rep.-ZBL, starting five) her stats read 15.4 points per game and 7.2 rebounds. Valosun KP Brno finished A2 stage with 14-13 record, however lost to Hradec in the Quarterfinals.
