Traditionally, every week we bring you a list of the top performances of Czechs who are currently playing abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international power forward Jana Vesela (194-83, currently plays in Turkey). She contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Canik Bld (6-7) crushing them 81-56 in the Turkish TKBL in Sunday night's game. Vesela recorded 10 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in 27 minutes on the court. Homend Antakya Belediyesi (7-6) is placed seventh in the TKBL. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Vesela is currently fourth on the league's list of best blockers with 1.2bpg. She also averaged so far 10.5ppg, 7.2rpg, 2.8apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 44.9%, 3FGP: 29.4% and FT: 92.6%(25-27) in the 13 games she played so far. Vesela is currently a member of the Czech Republic senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international center Kamila Stepanova (191-88, currently plays in France), who plays in the French LFB. Stepanova could not help one of league's weakest teams Basket Landes (9-7) in their last game. Despite her good performance Basket Landes lost 63-68 on the road to the higher-ranked (#5) Nantes Reze. Stepanova was the second best scorer with 12 points in a mere 16 minutes. It's Stepanova's first season with the team. This year she averages: 4.9ppg, 2.9rpg, 2FGP: 43.1%, 3FGP: 33.3% and FT: 88.9% in the 15 games. Stepanova is in the roster of the Czech Republic senior national team.

   #3. The Czech Republic player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Petra Kulichova (198-84, currently plays in Euroleague). She contributed to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Arras (0-8) crushing them 78-52 in the Euroleague in Wednesday night's game. Kulichova recorded 7 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Good Angels Kosice (7-2) is placed first in group B. It was her team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. There are only three games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Kulichova's overall stats this season are: 7.9ppg, 7.8rpg, 1.1apg, 2FGP: 52.5% and FT: 53.8%. She is also a member of the Czech Republic senior national team.

   #4. Center Martina Rejchova (195-83, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Viterbo (5-9) in their game against S. La Spezia (10-4) in the Italian A2 (12th division). Despite her good performance last Saturday She was the top scorer with 12 points. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Rejchova belongs to league's best rebounders and is ranked #6. She has individually a very good season with high stats. Rejchova averages: 15.1ppg, 9.8rpg and 1.6spg. She used to play for the Czech Republic national team back in 2009.

   #5. International point guard Katerina Bartonova (174-90, currently plays in Spain) managed to help Cadi ICG Software to win against the closely-ranked Gran Canaria (4-7) 78-67 in the Spanish LFB in Saturday night's game. She scored only 2 points. Cadi ICG Software (5-6) is placed seventh in the LFB. Bartonova's overall stats this season are: 5.6ppg, 3.4rpg and 2.1apg. She plays currently for the Czech Republic national team.


The list of other players, who all have Czech Republic passport but never been selected to any of Czech Republic national teams:

   #1. Cecilia Lineira (180-G-86, currently plays in Spain) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Fundal Alcobendas (7-6) 62-43 in the Spanish LF2 (12th division) last Saturday. She recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and getting 16 rebounds. Lineira also added 4 assists and 4 steals (was perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line). Orion-GDKO Ibaizabal Galdakao (7-4) is placed fourth in Group B. Lineira has relatively good stats this season: 14.1ppg, 9.5rpg, 2.6apg and 2.0spg. She has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Czech Republic.

   #2. Experienced Gabriela Jandova (190-C-73, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division) could not help ASC Theresianum Mainz (2-1) in their last game. Despite Jandova's very good performance the third-placed ASC Theresianum Mainz was crushed 80-58 on the road by the second-ranked Berlin in the North group. She was the top scorer with 16 points. Jandova also added 8 rebounds in 23 minutes. Jandova is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's her ninth year in ASC Theresianum Mainz's roster. She is currently fourth on the list of best blockers with 1.5bpg. This year Jandova also averages: 16.9ppg, 7.4rpg and 1.3spg in the 12 games she played so far.

   #3. Leona Jankowska (190-C-77, currently plays in Poland), who plays in the Polish PLKK was not able to help Widzew (1-13) in their last game on Saturday. Despite her good performance Widzew was crushed 105-64 in Bydgoszcz by the second-ranked Artego. Jankowska was the second best scorer with 12 points. She also added 7 rebounds. There are only three games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Jankowska belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #6) and also on the list of best rebounders (seventh place). She has very reliable stats this season: 14.8ppg, 7.2rpg, 1.3apg and 1.9spg.

   #4. Katarina Flasarova (171-G-85, currently plays in Germany) was not able to secure a victory for Herner TC (2-10) in their game against Wildcats Wolfenbuettel (8-4) in the German DBBL, despite her very good performance in Saturday night's game. Flasarova was the second best scorer with 16 points. She also added 3 passes in 35 minutes. But the bottom-ranked Herner TC was crushed 88-63 in Wolfenbuettel by the much higher-ranked (#4) Wildcats. It was Herner TC's third consecutive loss in a row. This year Flasarova's overall stats are: 7.5ppg, 1.2rpg and 1.4apg in the 11 games.

   #5. Tereza Brantlova (172-G-82, currently plays in Romania) managed to help CSU Alba Iulia in a victory against the eighth-ranked Craiova (7-8) 66-59 in the Romanian Liga Nationala on Saturday night. Brantlova recorded only 4 points in 20 minutes. CSU Alba Iulia (11-4) is placed fourth in the Liga Nationala. It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row. This year Brantlova's overall stats are: 8.8ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.7apg in the 14 games.

Basket Costa X L'Unicef Costa Masnaga (Serie A2) added to their roster 30-year old Czech forward Tereza Vorlova (186-86). She played last season at Civitanova (Serie A2). In 8 games she recorded very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 9.5rpg, 1.0apg, 2.0spg and 1.0bpg. The previous (14-15) season Vorlova played at Edelweiss Albino. China overcame Czech Republic at Four Nations Tournament - May 21, 2016

China overcame Czech Republic at the Four Nations Tournament in China. The Asian team posted an easy 71:49 win, while they also celebrated a 71:54 win few days ago. China won the opening period 15-12 and led by 8 points at the halftime. They increased the lead to 53-38 at the end of thirty minutes leaving no chances for the European squad. New Zealand celebrate first win at Four Nations tournament - May 16, 2016

New Zealand - Czech Republic 72:64 New Zealand earned the first victory at the Four Nations friendly tournament in China. They beat Czech Republic for 1-2 record. Antonia Edmondson (181-F-87) posted 16 points to lead the winners. The Tall Ferns jumped to a 21:18 lead after ten minutes. New Zealand maintained the lead throughout the second term.
