The games at this stage are more interesting as they can be crucial for the final standings in Regular Season. Despite we already know who is stronger and who is weaker, there may be still last minute susprises and upsets.

An interesting game for USK Praha (18-1) which hosted in Praha 4th placed Kara Trutnov (11-8). First ranked USK Praha had an easy win 88-58. The game was mostly controlled by USK Praha. Kara Trutnov managed to win third quarter 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kara Trutnov to just 6 points in first quarter. USK Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Kara Trutnov's 38 and made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. USK Praha forced 20 Kara Trutnov turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Kia Vaughn (193-87, college: Rutgers) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. International center Ilona Burgrova (194-84, college: S.Carolina) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. USK Praha's coach Natalia Hejkova felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Ambrosia Anderson (186-84, college: BYU) answered with 13 points and 9 rebounds for Kara Trutnov. USK Praha have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 18-1 record. Kara Trutnov at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. USK Praha's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Praha to the arena VS Praha.
The game in Karlovy Vary was also worth to mention about. Seventh ranked Valosun Brno (9-9) played at the court of 8th ranked Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary (7-12). Valosun Brno defeated Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary 68-55. It was a great evening for American guard Ashleigh Fontenette (172-89, college: Texas) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points and 9 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws). Aleksandra Chomac helped adding 10 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side Irish guard Orla O'Reilly (182-90, college: Binghamton) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Valosun Brno moved-up to sixth place. Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary at the other side keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. Valosun Brno will play against Aldast Strakonice (#10) at home in the next round. Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary will play against Sokol Hradec Kralove and hopes to get back on the winning track.

However their fans expected much easier game. It was an exceptional evening for Petra Reisingerova who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. VS Praha's coach Petr Treml used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Brittney Thomas came up with 11 points and 8 rebounds for Aldast Strakonice in the defeat. VS Praha maintains fifth place with 10-8 record. Loser Aldast Strakonice keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost. The game between second ranked IMOS Brno (17-2) and 6th ranked VSE Praha (9-10) in Brno ended with biggest points difference. IMOS Brno outscored guests from Praha 110-66. Tereza Peckova fired a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. VSE Praha's coach Jiri Barta gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. IMOS Brno have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain second place with 17-2 record behind leader USK Praha. VSE Praha lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. IMOS Brno's next round opponent will be Kara Trutnov (#4) on the road. VSE Praha will play against DSK Karlin.

In the last two games of round 19 Hradec Kralove smashed Pardubice on the road 87-58. DSK Karlin lost to Slovanka MB on its own court 72-84.


Pardubice - Hradec Kralove 58-87

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Sokol Hradec Kralove (16-3) crushed bottom-ranked BK Pliska Studanka (2-17) in Pardubice 87-58. The game without a history. Sokol Hradec Kralove led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Sokol Hradec Kralove had a 34-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. 25 personal fouls committed by BK Pliska Studanka helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Slovakian point guard Darina Misurova (163-81) fired 15 points and 4 steals for the winners. Power forward Martina Cepelkova (184-92) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds. Five Sokol Hradec Kralove players scored in double figures. Forward Veronika Havlikova (172-94) produced 8 points and 7 rebounds and forward Hana Kramperova (176-85) added 11 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Hradec Kralove have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain third place with 16-3 record having just two points less than leader USK Praha. BK Pliska Studanka at the other side stay at the bottom position with 17 games lost.
