There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in ZBL.

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Praha: USK Praha (#1) and VS Praha (#5). VS Praha was smashed at home by 27 points 53-80 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of VS Praha. The game was mostly controlled by USK Praha. VS Praha managed to win second period 22-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. USK Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to VS Praha's 26. USK Praha forced 19 VS Praha turnovers and outrebounded them 37-22 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. American power forward Rebekkah Brunson (191-81, college: Georgetown, agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 7 rebounds. The other American import center Kia Vaughn (193-87, college: Rutgers) contributed with 19 points for the winners. International guard Lenka Bartakova (175-91) replied with 10 points for VS Praha. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. USK Praha have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 19-1 record. VS Praha at the other side keeps the fifth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Valosun Brno. USK Praha are looking forward to face Valosun Brno (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. VS Praha will play against the league's second-placed IMOS Brno and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
An interesting game for IMOS Brno (18-2) which played road game in Trutnov against 4th ranked Kara Trutnov (11-9). Second ranked IMOS Brno managed to get a 6-point victory 84-78. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Hana Horakova (182-79) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 rebounds and Farhiya Abdi who added 18 points during the contest. American forward Ambrosia Anderson (186-84, college: BYU) responded with 24 points and 9 rebounds. IMOS Brno have an impressive 12-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 18-2 record behind leader USK Praha. Kara Trutnov at the other side keeps the fourth place with nine games lost. IMOS Brno will play against VS Praha (#5) at home in the next round. Kara Trutnov will play against DSK Karlin and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game between ninth ranked Basket Slovanka MB (7-13) and 12th ranked BK Pliska Studanka (2-18) in Vodochody on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Basket Slovanka MB outscored guests from Pardubice 88-54. The winners were led by Biljana Savic who scored that evening 13 points and 7 rebounds. Even 12 points by Hana Kramperova did not help to save the game for BK Pliska Studanka. Basket Slovanka MB moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Lokomotiva. BK Pliska Studanka lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 18 lost games. Basket Slovanka MB will meet higher ranked VSE Praha (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BK Pliska Studanka will play against Lokomotiva Karlovy Vary (#9) and hope to secure a win.

There were no big surprises in other games of round 20: DSK Karlin was smashed by VSE Praha on the road 82-58. Valosun Brno won against Strakonice on its own court 68-62. Lokomotiva unfortunately lost to Hradec Kralove in a road game 63-70.
