31-year old power forward Rebekkah Brunson (191-F/C-81, agency: LBM Management) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team USK Praha and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 20. She had the game-high 22 points adding seven rebounds for USK Praha in her team's victory, helping them to outclass VS Praha (#5, 10-9) with 27-point margin 80-53. It allowed USK Praha to consolidate first place in the Czech Republic ZBL. USK Praha has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 19-1. Brunson turned to be USK Praha's top player in her first season with the team. Rebekkah Brunson averages this season 13.4ppg and 7.6rpg.
Second best performed player last round was Ashleigh Fontenette (172-G-89) of Valosun Brno. She is American guard in her first season at Valosun Brno. In the last game Fontenette recorded impressive 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. It was enough for Valosun Brno to edge the lower-ranked Strakonice (#10, 5-15) by 6 points 68-62. Valosun Brno's 6th position in the standings has not changed. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But 10-9 record is not bad and everything may still change. Fontenette is a newcomer at Valosun Brno and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.8ppg (#3). She also registered 6.4 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to center Michaela Hartigova (192-C-83) of Hradec Kralove (#3). Hartigova scored 21 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Hradec Kralove, leading her team to a 70-63 win against the lower-ranked Lokomotiva (#9, 7-13). Hradec Kralove is closer and closer to the top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 17-3 record is not that bad... Hartigova has a very solid season. In 20 games in Czech Republic she scored 13.9ppg. She also has 7.6rpg, 1.2bpg and and 3PT: 41.3%.

Valosun KP Brno finished A2 stage with 14-13 record, however lost to Hradec in the Quarterfinals.
