#1. This week's number one is an experienced former international center Ondrej Starosta (215-79, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division). He could not help Planasa NV (7-9) in their last game. Despite Starosta's very good performance Planasa NV lost 80-86 on the road to the higher-ranked (#4) Palencia_Baloncesto.
He had a double-double by scoring 24 points and getting 12 rebounds in 35 minutes on the court.
Starosta is currently first on the list of top scorers and also on the list of best rebounders (first place).
He has individually a very good year with high stats. Starosta averages: 16.2ppg, 9.7rpg, 1.1apg, 1.2bpg, 2FGP: 60.2%(112-186) and FT: 41.7% in the 16 games he played so far.
He played for the Czech Republic senior national team five years ago.
#2. Second place goes to an international center Ondrej Balvin (216-92, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in Spain. Balvin was not able to help Cajasol (0-3) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite his good performance the fourth-placed Cajasol was defeated 87-80 at home by the leading Lokomotiv in the group K of Eurocup.
Balvin scored 12 points, had 4 rebounds and made 5 blocks.
There are only three games left until the end of the Eurocup Top 16. So now every game will be critical.
Balvin's overall stats this season are: 4.0ppg, 2.4rpg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 57.1%(12-21) and FT: 61.5%.
He is in the roster of the Czech Republic senior national team.
#3. The Czech Republic player who performed third best last week abroad was former international forward Jan Vesely (211-90, currently plays in NBA). Vesely contributed to a Washington Wizards' victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves (17-24) 114-101 in the NBA on Friday night.
He scored 6 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 18 minutes.
The Washington Wizards have rather weak 11-32 record this season.
This year Vesely's overall stats are: 2.8ppg, 2.6rpg and FT: 22.2% in the 30 games.
He played for the Czech Republic national team three years ago.
#4. Point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91, currently plays in Spain) is a teammate of previously mentioned Ondrej Balvin. But that was another game of his team in Spanish ACB which we would like to mention.
Satoransky was not able to secure a victory for Cajasol (7-12) in their game against Caja Laboral (16-3).
He recorded 8 points and added 8 assists.
Cajasol was defeated 86-82 on their home court in Sevilla by the second-ranked Caja Laboral.
Satoransky belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #4.
He has very reliable stats this season: 11.8ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.2apg and 1.1spg.
Satoransky is also Czech Republic national team player.
#5. International shooting guard Pavel Pumprla (198-86, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Blusens Monbus (9-10) in their game against Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (6-13) in the Spanish ACB.
Pumprla recorded 7 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
Blusens Monbus was defeated 79-73 in Madrid by the lower-ranked Baloncesto Fuenlabrada (#16).
It was Blusens Monbus' third consecutive loss in a row.
Pumprla's total stats this season are: 6.4ppg and 2.8rpg.
He plays currently for the Czech Republic national team.
#6. Center Tomas Hampl (215-88, currently plays in Spain) helped River Andorra win their game against the closely-ranked Meridiano Alicante (10-6) 84-80 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) last Friday.
He recorded 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. B.C. River Andorra (3-0) is placed in the LEB Gold.
So far his team won all three games in the Regular Season.
It's Hampl's first season with the team.
Hampl's total stats this year are: 7.6ppg and 3.9rpg.
He is an international player who is currently on the senior Czech Republic National Team roster.
#7. Former international center Ales Chan (216-80, agency: Edge Sports, college: Seton Hill, currently plays in Cyprus) couldn't help Apoel (2-6) in their game against Keravnos (12-3) in the Cypriot Division A.
He scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in only 9 minutes.
Apoel was edged 75-74 in Strovolos by the leading Keravnos.

He scored 10 points in 26 minutes.

CEZ Nymburk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. CEZ Nymburk looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by BK Decin's players. It was a great evening for American point guard Chasson Randle (187-93, college: Stanford) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. His fellow American import guard Michael Dixon (186-90, college: Memphis) helped adding 11 points and 8 assists. CEZ Nymburk's coach Ronen Ginzburg felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Tomas Pomikalek (200-89) with 9 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and international guard Tomas Vyoral (190-92) scored 12 points. BK pardubice cruised past Prostejov to secure the Bronze medals. The game was mostly controlled by BK Pardubice. Prostejov was better in third quarter 28-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Prostejov 38-22 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for BK Pardubice especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American forward Joseph Wall (200-89, college: Seattle Pacific) notched 21 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Lamb Autrey (190-89, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency:Two Points) supported him with 20 points and 6 assists. Four BK Pardubice players scored in double figures. CoachTomas Bartosek's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest.
