Here is the weekly review of the top performing Czech Republic players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international center Petra Kulichova (198-84, currently plays in Euroleague). She was the major contributor in a Good Angels' victory against the closely-ranked Familia Schio (7-4) 78-67 in the Euroleague in Thursday night's game. Kulichova scored 12 points in 23 minutes on the court. Good Angels Kosice (8-2) is placed second in group B. It was her team's fifth consecutive victory in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Euroleague Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. It's Kulichova's first season with the team. This year she averages: 8.3ppg, 7.3rpg, 2FGP: 55.2%(37-67) in the 10 games she played so far. Kulichova is currently a member of the Czech Republic senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international power forward Jana Vesela (194-83, currently plays in Turkey), who plays in the Turkish TKBL. She could not help one of league's weakest teams Antakya (7-8) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Vesela's good performance Antakya was defeated 75-69 on the road by the higher-ranked Istanbul Universitesi (#7). She was the second best scorer with 12 points. Vesela also added 9 boards, passed 3 assists and added 4 steals (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Vesela is currently fifth on the list of best blockers. She has very reliable stats this season: 10.3ppg, 7.0rpg, 2.7apg, 1.1bpg, 1.4spg, 2FGP: 44.4%, 3FGP: 31.6% and FT: 94.3%(33-35). Vesela is in the roster of the Czech Republic senior national team.

   #3. The Czech Republic player who performed third best last week abroad was an international small forward Katerina Zohnova (179-84, currently plays in Italy). She contributed to a 2-point Umbertide's victory against the ninth-ranked Orvieto (3-10) 68-66 in the Italian A1 on Sunday night. Zohnova scored 8 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in 23 minutes. Liomatic Umbertide (8-4) is placed fifth in the A1. This year Zohnova's overall stats are: 6.9ppg, 3.2rpg, 2FGP: 36.0%, 3FGP: 42.9% and FT: 78.6% in the 12 games. She is also a member of the Czech Republic senior national team.

   #4. Center Martina Rejchova (195-83, currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Viterbo (5-10) in their game against Ragusa (15-1) in the Italian A2 (12th division). She was the second best scorer with 8 points. Rejchova also added 6 rebounds in 30 minutes. The tenth-placed Viterbo was crushed 86-40 on the opponent's court by the leading Ragusa in the South group. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Rejchova has relatively good stats this year: 14.6ppg, 9.5rpg and 1.5spg in the 14 games. She used to play for the Czech Republic national team back in 2009.

   #1. Cecilia Lineira (180-G-86, currently plays in Spain), who plays in the Spanish LF2 (12th division) could not help Orion-GDKO (8-5) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Lineira's good performance the fourth-placed Orion-GDKO was defeated 64-49 on the road by the higher-ranked Real Canoe (#3) in the Group B. She was the top scorer with 11 points. Lineira also added 9 rebounds (made all of her six free throws). Lineira has relatively good stats this season: 13.8ppg, 9.6rpg, 2.5apg and 1.9spg. She has a dual citizenship: Argentinian and Czech Republic.

   #2. Experienced Leona Jankowska (190-C-77, currently plays in Poland), who plays in the Polish PLKK was not able to help Widzew (1-14) in their last game. Despite Jankowska's good performance Widzew was crushed 85-48 at home by the much higher-ranked (#3) Wisla Can-Pak. She was the second best scorer with 13 points. Jankowska also added 8 rebounds (made all of her six free throws) in 34 minutes. It was Widzew's eighth consecutive loss in a row. There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Jankowska is ranked fifth on the list of the top scorers in the league and also on the list of best rebounders (seventh place). This year she has very good stats: 14.7ppg, 7.3rpg, 1.3apg and 1.9spg in the 14 games she played so far.

   #3. Gabriela Jandova (190-C-73, currently plays in Germany) contributed to an easy victory against the tenth-ranked Rhein MB II (3-11) crushing them 74-41 in the German 2.Bundesliga (12th division) on Saturday night. Jandova scored 9 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 3 assists. ASC Theresianum Mainz (2-1) is placed fourth in North group. Jandova is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's her ninth year in ASC Theresianum Mainz's roster. She has individually a very good season with high stats. Jandova averages: 16.1ppg, 7.0rpg, 1.1apg, 1.3bpg and 1.2spg.

   #4. Katarina Flasarova (171-G-85, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German DBBL was not able to secure a victory for Herner TC (2-12) in their last game on Sunday. Despite Flasarova's good performance the bottom-ranked Herner TC was badly defeated 85-68 in Langen by the higher-ranked Rhein Main Baskets (#7). She scored 11 points. Flasarova's total stats this season are: 7.9ppg, 1.4rpg and 1.3apg.

American Swingman Krystal Vaughn (185-G/F-86) put on an amazing game in the last round for BLK Praha, receiving a Player of the Week award for round 17. The 30-year old player was the main contributor (26 points, eight rebounds) to her team's victory, helping them to beat Nymburk (#4, 11-6) 93-79. The game between Top Four teams took place in Hradec Kralove. Second-ranked host Sokol Hradec Kralove (14-4) was smashed by leader USK Praha (16-0) 95-63. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Sokol Hradec Kralove. USK Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Sokol Hradec Kralove's 44. USK Praha forced 20 Sokol Hradec Kralove turnovers.
