The Regular Season in NBL just ended.

Bottom-ranked BK Usti nad Labem managed to get the second consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they won against twelfth-ranked B&W Opava 76-68. 29 personal fouls committed by B&W Opava helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Brad Reese (199-88, college: Texas Tech) fired 25 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Antonin Pistecky (195-84) chipped in 12 points and 4 steals. Forward Jakub Blazek (203-80) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BK Usti nad Labem (6-18) moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with defeated B&W Opava. B&W Opava lost ninth consecutive game.
Leader CEZ Nymburk delivered the twentieth third victory. This time they crushed 10th ranked Levharti Chomutov (8-16) 106-68. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Tweety Carter (180-86, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 assists. Radoslav Rancik contributed with 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. CEZ Nymburk's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Ladislav Pecka (197-91) answered with 18 points for Levharti Chomutov. CEZ Nymburk (23-1) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place. Levharti Chomutov lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Svitavy.

Petr Benda stepped up and scored 13 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. At the losing side Matej Venta responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for CEZ Nymburk. Defending champion maintains first place with 23-1 record. BK Lions Hradec at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost.

Other games of round 25 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
USK Praha was defeated by BK Prostejov in a road game 94-76. BC Kolin beat Svitavy at home 85-80. J.Hradec was destroyed by BK Pardubice on the opponent's court 88-65. BK Decin outscored Levice in a home game 78-59.
The best stats of 25th round was 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists by Michael Deloach of Svitavy.

BK Prostejov - USK Praha 94-76

There was no surprise when 8th ranked USK Praha (10-14) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked BK Prostejov (15-9) 94-76 on Saturday. The game without a history. BK Prostejov led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Forward Ondrej Kohout (204-91) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and naturalized Slovakian Roman Marko (194-86) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Five BK Prostejov players scored in double figures. At the losing side Congolese-French forward Boris Meno (203-83, college: Davidson, agency: Two Points) responded with 29 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Michal Sotnar (189-92) scored 13 points and 4 assists. USK Praha's coach Ken Scalabroni rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. BK Prostejov moved-up to fourth place. USK Praha at the other side keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost.

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked BC Kolin (14-10) defeated at home 9th ranked Basketbal Svitavy (8-16) 85-80 on Saturday. Basketbal Svitavy was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 27-20 charge of BC Kolin, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Demarius Bolds (190-84, college: Missouri Western, agency: I.D.S. Law) stepped up and scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners and power forward Stanislav Zuzak (203-80, college: Cal-Irvine) chipped in 20 points and 6 rebounds. Bolds is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side American point guard Michael Deloach (183-86, college: Norfolk St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Jiri Jelinek (203-87) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Basketbal Svitavy's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BC Kolin moved-up to fifth place, which they share with BK Decin. Basketbal Svitavy at the other side keeps the ninth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Chomutov.
