Here is the weekly review of the top performing Czech Republic players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is an international point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91, currently plays in Eurocup), who plays in Spain. He could not help Cajasol (0-4) in their last game. Despite Satoransky's good performance the fourth-placed Cajasol lost 72-83 on the road to the leading Lokomotiv in the group K of Eurocup. He was the second best scorer with 14 points. Satoransky also added 5 passes in 24 minutes on the court. So far Cajasol lost all four games in the Top 16. There are only two games left until the end of the Eurocup Top 16. So now every game will be critical. It's Satoransky's first season with the team. He has relatively good stats this year: 10.5ppg, 4.1rpg, 5.1apg, 2FGP: 46.2%, 3FGP: 31.6% and FT: 75.0% in the 10 games he played so far. Satoransky is currently a member of the Czech Republic senior national team.

   #2. Second place goes to an international shooting guard David Jelinek (194-90, currently plays in Spain). He managed to help Caja Laboral Vitoria to win against the closely-ranked Valencia Basket (12-8) 79-75 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday. Jelinek scored only 2 points and blocked 2 shots. It was his first game for Caja Laboral this season. It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. His team is placed second in the ACB. It was Caja Laboral's tenth consecutive victory in a row. Jelinek is in the roster of the Czech Republic senior national team.

   #3. The Czech Republic player who performed third best last week abroad was an international shooting guard Pavel Pumprla (198-86, currently plays in Spain). He was not able to help Blusens Monbus (9-11) in their game against UCAM Murcia (9-11) in the Spanish ACB. Pumprla scored 8 points in 26 minutes. Blusens Monbus lost 77-83 in Murcia to the lower-ranked (#12) UCAM. It was Blusens Monbus' fourth consecutive loss in a row. This year Pumprla averages: 6.5ppg, 2.7rpg, 2FGP: 52.5%, 3FGP: 55.6% and FT: 83.8% in the 20 games. He is also a member of the Czech Republic senior national team.

An experienced small forward Lubos Barton (202-80, college: Valparaiso, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German BBL was not able to secure a victory for New Yorker Phantoms (6-14) in their last game. Despite his good performance New Yorker Phantoms lost 70-75 in Muenchen to the much higher-ranked (#3) Bayern. Barton was the second best scorer with 12 points in 23 minutes. It was New Yorker Phantoms' sixth consecutive loss in a row. This year Barton's overall stats are: 7.5ppg and 2.5rpg in the two games. He is also Czech Republic national team player.

   #5. Former international forward Jan Vesely (211-90, currently plays in NBA) couldn't help the Washington Wizards (12-35) in their game against the Philadelphia 76ers (21-26) in the NBA. Vesely did not beat the league record on Wednesday evening. He recorded only 2 points. The Washington Wizards were defeated 92-84 in Philadelphia by the 76ers. It was Wizards' fourth consecutive loss in a row. Vesely's total stats this season are: 2.7ppg and 2.6rpg. He used to play for the Czech Republic national team three years ago.

   #6. Center Ondrej Balvin (216-92, currently plays in Eurocup) is a teammate of previously mentioned Tomas Satoransky and both played together in the last Eurocup game. Balvin couldn't help Cajasol (0-4) in their game against Lokomotiv (4-0). He recorded only 4 points in 15 minutes. Cajasol (#4) lost 72-83 in Kuban to the leading Lokomotiv in the group K of Eurocup. This year Balvin's total stats are: 4.0ppg, 2.4rpg and 1.1bpg in the nine games. He is an international player who is currently on the senior Czech Republic National Team roster.

Former international center Ales Chan (216-80, agency: Edge Sports, college: Seton Hill, currently plays in Cyprus) contributed to a 2-point Apoel's victory against the closely-ranked Apollon (8-9) 70-68 in the Cypriot Division A on Tuesday night. Chan recorded 9 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks in 21 minutes. Cytavision Apoel Nicosia (9-8) is placed fourth in the Division A. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game is very crucial. Chan has averaged so far 6.5ppg and 4.3rpg in the 13 games. He used to play for the Czech Republic national team three years ago.

Center Jiri Hubalek (208-82, agency: Two Points, college: Iowa St., currently plays in Italy) contributed to a 3-point Umana Venezia's victory against one of league's weakest teams VL Pesaro (4-14) 71-68 in the Italian SerieA in Sunday night's game. Hubalek scored only 2 points. Umana Reyer Venezia (10-8) is placed seventh in the SerieA. It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row. Hubalek has averaged so far 0.9ppg and 1.3rpg. He used to play for the Czech Republic national team back in 2009.

   #1. Michal Kremen (200-G/F-81, currently plays in Cyprus) led Apoel to a 2-point victory against the closely-ranked Apollon (8-9) 70-68 in the Cypriot Division A in Tuesday night's game. Kremen recorded 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Cytavision Apoel Nicosia (9-8) is placed fourth in the Division A. There are only four games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical. Kremen's overall stats this season are: 6.8ppg, 3.7rpg, 1.6apg and 1.8spg.

   #2. David Steffel (212-C/F-85, currently plays in Romania), who plays in the Romanian Liga Nationala could not help one of league's weakest teams Rovinari (10-10) to beat Gaz Metan (12-8). Steffel scored 8 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Rovinari was defeated 75-71 on the road by the higher-ranked Gaz Metan (#8). Steffel is ranked second on the list of the best rebounders in the league. He has very reliable stats this season: 13.8ppg, 8.9rpg and 1.6apg.

   #3. Jaroslav Tyrna (207-F/C-86, college: New Orleans, currently plays in Germany) was not able to help USC Leipzig (3-17) in their game against BG Goettingen (9-6) in the German ProA (second division). Tyrna scored 7 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks in 34 minutes. The bottom-ranked USC Leipzig lost 80-92 in Goettingen to the much higher-ranked (#4) BG Goettingen. It was USC Leipzig's ninth consecutive loss in a row. Tyrna has averaged so far 4.2ppg and 4.7rpg in the six games he played so far.

Czech Republic - Finland 83:62 Czech Republic earned a comfortable win over Finland in the exhibition game in Prague. Tomas Satoransky (201-PG-91, agency: Octagon Europe) and Jaromir Bohacik (197-F/G-92, agency: Octagon Europe) posted 16 points each to lead the winners. G.Larissa-Faros BC (A1) added to their roster 27-year old American power forward Kenny Hall (206-104kg-90, college: Tennessee). He played last season at CEZ Nymburk in NBL league in Czech Republic. In 17 games he had 7.6ppg and 4.8rpg. Hall also played that season for ASA Koroivos Amaliadas where in 18 A1 games he recorded 13.4ppg and 6.7rpg.
