There were many interesting games last round. The round ended with defeat of the leader and favorites losing the games.

Top ranked Levice (15-14) recorded its fourteenth loss in J.Hradec on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked BK Lions Hradec (9-21) 103-90. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Levice. They outrebounded Levice 41-30 including 27 on the defensive glass. 28 personal fouls committed by Levice helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Center Jan Tomanec (205-85) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international guard Ondrej Dygryn (190-84) chipped in 17 points and 8 assists. American point guard Willie Kemp (188-87, college: Memphis) produced 28 points and 7 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BK Lions Hradec maintains fifth position in Group A2 with 9-21 record, which they share with Svitavy. Levice at the other side still keeps top place with 14 games lost. BK Lions Hradec is looking forward to face Basketbal Svitavy (#5) on the road in the next round. Levice will play against B&W Opava (#4) and is hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Ostrava. Third ranked BK Pardubice (18-9) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging their biggest opponent NH Ostrava (18-10) 80-79 in the game for the second place. It was a key game for the second position in Group A1. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Travis Nelson (208-87, college: Minnesota St.) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). Corey Muirhead contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. BK Pardubice's coach Jan Slowiak allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American forward Justin Greene (203-89, college: Kent St.) replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds for NH Ostrava. BK Pardubice moved-up to second place in Group A1. NH Ostrava lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third position with ten games lost. BK Pardubice will play against league's leader CEZ Nymburk on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. NH Ostrava will play against BK Decin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
A very close game took place in Chomutov between Levharti Chomutov and USK Praha. Third ranked Levharti Chomutov (12-17) got a very close home victory over their biggest opponent USK Praha (13-17). Levharti Chomutov managed to escape with a 3-point win 101-98 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Showron Glover who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). At the losing side Viktor Cvek responded with 24 points. USK Praha's coach Ken Scalabroni rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Levharti Chomutov have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position in Group A2 with 12-17 record having just three points less than leader Levice. Loser USK Praha keeps the second place with 17 games lost. Levharti Chomutov will meet at home BK Usti nad Labem (#7) in the next round. USK Praha will play against BK Usti nad Labem (#7) and hope to secure a win.
Sixth-ranked Basketbal Svitavy (9-21) made lots of trouble for second ranked USK Praha (13-17). USK Praha managed to secure only two-point victory 83-81. However their fans expected much easier game. The winners were led by Michal Sotnar who scored that evening 14 points and 7 assists. Basketbal Svitavy's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. USK Praha maintains second position in Group A2 with 13-17 record having just one points less than leader Levice. Basketbal Svitavy lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with 21 games lost. USK Praha's next round opponent will be BK Usti nad Labem (#7) on the road where they are favorite. Basketbal Svitavy will play against BK Lions Hradec in J.Hradec and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Leader CEZ Nymburk delivered the twentieth sixth victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked BC Kolin (15-12) 108-65. Radoslav Rancik fired 16 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first position in Group A1 with 26-1 record. Loser BC Kolin keeps the sixth place with 12 games lost. CEZ Nymburk will face league's second-placed BK Pardubice at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BC Kolin will play against BK Prostejov (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Rest of the games of round 4 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
In Group A1 BK Decin was crushed by BK Prostejov in a road game 101-68.
In Group A2 Svitavy was beaten by Usti n/Labem at home 78-92. J.Hradec lost to B&W Opava on the opponent's court 76-89. Usti n/Labem unfortunately lost to B&W Opava in a home game 80-90.
The best stats of 4th round was 31 points and 18 rebounds by Boris Meno of USK Praha.

NH Ostrava - BK Pardubice 79-80

Important game to mention about took place in Ostrava. Third ranked BK Pardubice (18-9) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging their biggest opponent NH Ostrava (18-10) 80-79 in the game for the second place. It was a key game for the second position in Group A1. NH Ostrava was ahead by 10 points after three quarters before a 25-14 charge of BK Pardubice, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Thaddeus McFadden (188-87, college: Fairmont St.) produced 19 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Brad Reese (199-88, college: Texas Tech) added 16 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. B&W Opava have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position in Group A2 with 10-20 record. BK Usti nad Labem lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 22 games lost. B&W Opava will face league's leader Levice at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. BK Usti nad Labem will play against Levharti Chomutov (#3).

Sixth-ranked Basketbal Svitavy (9-21) made lots of trouble for second ranked USK Praha (13-17). USK Praha managed to secure only two-point victory 83-81. However their fans expected much easier game. The winners were led by point guard Michal Sotnar (189-92) who scored that evening 14 points and 7 assists and Congolese-French forward Boris Meno (203-83, college: Davidson, agency: Two Points) supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Even 23 points and 7 rebounds by forward Jiri Jelinek (203-87) did not help to save the game for Basketbal Svitavy. American point guard Michael Deloach (183-86, college: Norfolk St.) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Basketbal Svitavy's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. USK Praha maintains second position in Group A2 with 13-17 record having just one points less than leader Levice. Basketbal Svitavy lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with 21 games lost. USK Praha's next round opponent will be BK Usti nad Labem (#7) on the road where they are favorite. Basketbal Svitavy will play against BK Lions Hradec in J.Hradec and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
