The Regular Season in ZBL is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 4 rounds.

The most important game in the last round took place in Trutnov between third ranked BLK Praha (13-5) and seventh ranked LOKO Trutnov (9-8) on Sunday night. BLK Praha was defeated by LOKO Trutnov in a tough game on the road 67-72. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of BLK Praha. The best player for the winners was forward Milena Prokresova (180-81) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. The former international point guard Katerina Hindrakova (176-88) chipped in 24 points and 6 rebounds. LOKO Trutnov's coach Petr Kapitulcin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Krystal Vaughn (185-86, college: VCU) who recorded 21 points and 9 rebounds. LOKO Trutnov maintains seventh position with 9-8 record. BLK Praha at the other side keeps the third place with five games lost. LOKO Trutnov are looking forward to face bottom-ranked U19 Chance (#12) in Strakonice in the next round where they are favorite. BLK Praha will play at home against SBS Ostrava (#8) and is hoping to win this game.
Very important is a road loss of second ranked Sokol Hradec Kralove (14-5) against fourth ranked Basketball Nymburk (12-6) on Sunday night. Visiting Sokol Hradec Kralove was crushed by Basketball Nymburk in Nymburk 94-60. It was a good game for Russian-Ukrainian center Aleksandra Khomenchuk (202-89) who led her team to a victory with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Lenka Bartakova contributed with 11 points and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Klara Rosenbaumova (185-90) replied with 10 points and 7 rebounds for Sokol Hradec Kralove. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Basketball Nymburk maintains fourth position with 12-6 record. Sokol Hradec Kralove at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost. Basketball Nymburk will play against LOKO Trutnov (#7) at home in the next round. Sokol Hradec Kralove will play against Basket Slovanka MB (#10) in Vodochody and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Undefeated leader USK Praha delivered the seventeenth consecutive victory on Friday night. This time they crushed 10th ranked Basket Slovanka MB (3-14) 108-41 in Vodochody. Karolina Elhotova scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners. USK Praha's coach Natalia Hejkova felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Patricia Gallasova with 12 points. Undefeated USK Praha (17-0) have an impressive 17-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 17 victories in a row. Basket Slovanka MB lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 14 games lost. USK Praha will meet Karlovy Vary (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Basket Slovanka MB will play against the league's second-placed Sokol Hradec Kralove and hope to secure a win.

Rest of the games of round 18 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Karlovy Vary was defeated by Handicap Brno in a road game 71-62. SBS Ostrava smashed MK Technic at home 86-52. Bottom-ranked U19 Chance was destroyed by Valosun Brno on the opponent's court 97-35.

Loko Trutnov - BLK Praha 72-67
