An exciting game was played in Pardubice. BK Pardubice faced BK Decin. Host BK Pardubice (20-4) defeated guests from Decin (16-10) 81-65. BK Pardubice dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to BK Decin's 28. They outrebounded BK Decin 45-28 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. BK Pardubice looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by BK Decin's players. The best player for the winners was international power forward Kamil Svrdlik (205-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 16 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Dominez Burnett (196-92, college: Davenport) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Ondrej Siska (190-93) who recorded 13 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BK Pardubice are looking forward to face CEZ Nymburk on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BK Decin will play against USK Praha and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Other games of round 3 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
In Places 1-6 BK Kolin was defeated by USK Praha in a road game 72-55.
In Places 7-12 Usti n/Labem was beaten by NH Ostrava at home 70-78. Prostejov was destroyed by Svitavy on the opponent's court 95-68. Bottom-ranked MMCITE Brno managed to outperform J.Hradec in a home game 95-77.
The best stats of 3rd round was 19 points and 6 rebounds by Hunter Mickelson of Svitavy.

CEZ Nymburk - BK Opava 84-77

CEZ Nymburk delivered the twenty fourth victory. This time they beat BK Opava (13-12) 84-77. CEZ Nymburk made 19-of-25 charity shots (76.0 percent) during the game. CEZ Nymburk outrebounded BK Opava 44-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American guard Bryon Allen (193-92, college: George Mason) who led his team to a victory with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. NH Ostrava shot 27 for 38 from the free-throw line, while BK Usti nad Labem only scored ten points from the stripe. NH Ostrava forced 19 BK Usti nad Labem turnovers. BK Usti nad Labem was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American point guard Malcolm Canada (191, college: Auburn) who led his team to a victory with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Sterling Smith (193-93, college: Pittsburgh) contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. NH Ostrava's coach Dusan Medvecky allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Former Czech National Team member Pavel Benes (190-G-75) has been named the new head coach of BC BK Geosan Kolin. Benes 42, has signed a three-year contract with BK Geosan Kolin and it will be hist forst time as a head coach in the NBL.
