The most important game in the last round took place in Decin between third ranked BK Decin (16-11) and fifth ranked USK Praha (14-11) on Saturday night. BK Decin was defeated by USK Praha in a tough game at home 61-69. USK Praha outrebounded BK Decin 41-22 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when USK Praha made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of international swingman Jaromir Bohacik (197-92, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Center Pavel Grunt (208-94) contributed with 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Pavel Houska (203-84, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 18 points for BK Decin. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. USK Praha moved-up to fourth place in Places 1-6. BK Decin lost third consecutive game. They keep the third position with 11 games lost. USK Praha are looking forward to face league's leader CEZ Nymburk at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. BK Decin will play against BK Kolin and is hoping to win this game.
An interesting game for CEZ Nymburk (25-1) which hosted in Nymburk their biggest opponent BK Pardubice (20-5). First ranked CEZ Nymburk managed to get a 6-point victory 100-94. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of BK Pardubice. Worth to mention a great performance of Cuban forward Howard Sant-Roos (200-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Eugene Lawrence who added 7 points and 11 assists during the contest. CEZ Nymburk's coach Ronen Ginzburg allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American guard Lamb Autrey (191-89, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 24 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. CEZ Nymburk have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position in Places 1-6 with 25-1 record. BK Pardubice at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost. CEZ Nymburk will play against USK Praha (#4) on the road in the next round. BK Pardubice will play against BK Opava and hopes to get back on the winning track.
Worth to mention about the upset in a game between BK Usti nad Labem (10-16) and MMCITE Brno (9-17), which took place in Brno. 8th ranked BK Usti nad Labem lost to eleventh ranked MMCITE Brno in a road game 82-90 on Saturday. The winners were led by Kevin Ware who had that evening a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. MMCITE Brno's coach Zoran Helbich used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) by Ladislav Pecka did not help to save the game for BK Usti nad Labem. MMCITE Brno moved-up to ninth place in Places 7-12, which they share with NH Ostrava. Loser BK Usti nad Labem keeps the eighth position with 16 games lost. MMCITE Brno will meet higher ranked Basketbal Svitavy (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BK Usti nad Labem will play against BK Lions Hradec and hope to secure a win.

Other games in round 4 were not that significant.
In Places 1-6 BK Kolin was smashed by BK Opava on the road 106-84.
In Places 7-12 bottom-ranked J.Hradec won against Prostejov on its own court 85-78. Svitavy managed to outperform NH Ostrava in Svitavy 84-72.

Brett Roseboro joined the team at the start of the season. He tallied 10.5 points, 5.9 rebounds per game in the Czech NBL.
