France won over Denmark at the Classification Round for 13th to 16th Place at the U18 European Championship. The French side grabbed 76:70 victory.
Denmark surprised the opponents 28-22 in the first period. France replied with 18-16 in the second period and reduced to 4 points at the halftime. Moreover France erupted with 22-12 in the third period and never looked behind after. Both teams nailed 14 points each in the last stanza for the final result in the game.
Mouhammadou Jaiteh (206-C-94) top-scored for the winners with 31 points and 16 rebounds, while Alexandre Chassang (203-PF-94) posted 14. Antony Labanca (191-SF-94) delivered 12, while Benjamin Sene (186-PG-94) scored 8. Peter Moeller (190-PG-94) ended up with 19 points in the losing effort and Rasmus Larsen (212-C-94) had 17. Kristoffer Gertz (193-G-94) finished the game with 11 points in defeat.

American-Belizean Point guard Charles Burgess (186-PG-84) had a great game in the last round for Randers, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 19. The 32-year old player was the main contributor (38 points, six rebounds and eight assists) to as his team Randers maintains the 6th position in Danish Ligaen. The game between Top Four teams took place in Horsholm. 4th placed host Horsholm (8-9) lost to first ranked Horsens IC (15-2) 84-71. The game was mostly controlled by Horsens IC. Horsholm managed to win second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening.
