Rob Fields
American guard Robert Fields (185-G-88, college: Catawba) will play yet another season in Denmark making the 2012-2013 season his third in Denmark. Fields will play for the Horsholm 79ers and will make a strong duo with Brenton Butler (190-G-87, college: Fordham) as Hoersholms backcourt starters. Fields comes as a strong replacement for Jonas Bro (186-PG-87) who announced he would not return to play this season.

Fields played 4 seasons at Catawba (NCCA2) before moving to Denmark to play for one of the lower-league teams in the 2010-11 season. In January Fields moved to Porvoon Tarmo playing in the Finish Korisliiga and recorded 3 games averaging 9ppg, 1.7 rpg and 1.3 apg. In the 2011-2012 season Fields played a few months for another lower-leage team in Denmark and in January 12 he moved to Falcon playing in the Danish Ligaen. Fields made a strong contribution to the team averaging 16.7ppg, 3.2rpg, 3.9apg and 2.1spg but couldn't prevent the team from being relegated.

With Donald Rutherford (199-F-87) playing for Svendborg Rabbits and Dominick Reid (177-G) playing for Lemvig BK, Robert Robert Fields becomes the third Catawba product to play in Denmark this season.

Ligaen Round 11: Bakken edges Naestved by two points - 3 days ago

Sixth-ranked Naestved (2-7) made lots of trouble for second ranked Bakken (8-1) in Aarhus on Thursday. Bakken managed to secure only two-point victory 78-76. However their fans expected much easier game. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 2 points.
