Paris Horne
23-year old center Marie Malone (190-C-89) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked SISU and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 3.
She had the game-high 21 points adding seven rebounds and two assists for SISU in her team's victory, helping them to crush Horsholm (#4, 2-1) with 23-point margin 86-63. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. SISU is placed at 2nd position in Danish Dameligaen. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but SISU already had a very good start winning all 3 without losing a single one. Malone turned to be SISU's top player in her first season with the team. Hofstra University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Malone is in league's top in points (7th best: 16.7ppg), rebounds (4th best: 9.0rpg) and averages solid 71.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Janet Hatfield (190-C-85) of Vaerlose. She is Canadian center in her first season at Vaerlose. In the last game Hatfield recorded impressive double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds. Of course Vaerlose cruised to a 70-58 relatively comfortable win over Aabyhoj (0-3). The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Hatfield is a newcomer at Vaerlose and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to swingman Catharina Jensen (183-G/F-89) of Amager (#5). Jensen showcased her all-around game by recording 19 points, six rebounds and seven assists in the last round. She was a key player of Amager, leading her team to a 92-46 easy win against Horsens (#8, 0-3). The chances of Amager not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 2 games, recording just one victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Jensen could try to bring Amager's a little bit higher in the standings. Jensen has individually a great season in Denmark. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.3apg (5th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Emily Hatch (185-F-89) of Lemvig - 13 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Ida Klussmann (169-PG-93) of Amager - 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Kelly Meredith (182-C) of Aabyhoj - 26 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Alexandra Chili (180-G) of Vaerlose - 23 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Ida Pretzmann (174-G-90) of SISU - 15 points and 7 rebounds
9. Tea Jorgensen (177-F-87) of SISU - 15 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists
10. Ena Viso (183-F-93) of Amager - 7 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
