Camilla
Blands
Guard Camilla Blands (180-G-85) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked SISU, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 27-year old player was the main contributor (16 points, six rebounds and two assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass Lemvig (#2, 3-1) with 34-point margin 78-44. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed SISU to take over top position in the Danish Dameligaen. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but SISU already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. Blands has many years of experience at SISU, through which he has constantly improved. Former The University of Alabama star has very solid stats this year. Blands is in league's top in assists (8th best: 3.0apg) and averages impressive 52.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was 23-year old Catharina Jensen (183-G/F-89) of Amager. Jensen had a very good evening with a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds. Of course Amager cruised to a 60-49 relatively comfortable win over Aabyhoj (#7, 0-4). Despite this victory Amager slide down in the standings to 6th position. Her team lost some distance to top teams. But 2-2 record is not bad and everything may still change. Jensen is one of the most experienced players at Amager and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American forward Emily Hatch (185-F-89) of league's second-best Lemvig. Hatch showcased her all-around game by recording 15 points, sixteen rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. Despite Hatch's great performance Lemvig lost 44-78 to #1 ranked SISU. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Lemvig needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 1 lost games. Hatch has a great season in Denmark. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.0ppg (4th best), rebounds with 12.0rpg (#1 in league) and assists with 3.3apg (5th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Marie Malone (190-C-89) of SISU - 14 points and 10 rebounds
5. Trenice Fuller (193-C-87) of Falcon - 15 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Alexandra Chili (180-G) of Vaerlose - 14 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Kelly Meredith (182-C) of Aabyhoj - 25 points and 6 rebounds
8. Janet Hatfield (190-C-85) of Vaerlose - 12 points and 9 rebounds
9. Melanie Elmgreen (174-F-92) of Falcon - 9 points and 4 rebounds
10. Simona Bartkova (178-G-86) of Falcon - 9 points and 8 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
