An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Horsens. Leader Bakken faced 3rd placed Horsens IC. Guests from Aarhus (8-0) defeated host Horsens IC (5-3) 92-81. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Horsens IC. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Andreas Jakobsen (187-83, college: Columbia, MO) who scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international center Chris Christoffersen (218-79, college: Oregon) chipped in 20 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Skyler Bowlin (190-89, college: Missouri So., agency: Warren Sports International) who recorded 24 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Undefeated Bakken have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Svendborg. Horsens IC at the other side dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
Bottom-ranked Aalborg (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 100-82 loss to eighth ranked Randers (2-5) in Randers. It was a good game for American forward Bonell Colas (205-82, college: Florida) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 17 rebounds and 6 blocks. Damian Ocana contributed with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners. American guard Rob Delaney (194-89, college: Lafayette, agency: SDJ Sports) answered with 25 points for Aalborg. Randers moved-up to seventh place. Aalborg lost their eighth game in a row. They still closes the standings with eight games lost. Randers will play against Horsholm (#8) on the road in the next round. Aalborg will play against Naestved and hopes to get finally their first victory.

The game with biggest result difference took place in Copenhagen. Local SISU (6-2) outscored 6th ranked Aarhus BC (3-5) 75-50 on Sunday night. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. SISU forced 19 Aarhus BC turnovers and outrebounded them 44-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. The former international guard Mike Flowers (194-86, college: Barton, NC) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and American center Zack Moritz (210-88, college: Boise St.) chipped in 11 points and 7 rebounds. Five SISU players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American swingman Randy Dezouvre (195-87, college: Iona) with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and forward Jakob Wang (190-90) scored 9 points. There was no surprise when 7th ranked Horsholm (2-6) was defeated on the road by leader Svendborg (8-0) 90-72 on Saturday. The game without a history. Svendborg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 23-of-25 free shots (92.0 percent) during the game. Svendborg looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American power forward Donald Rutherford (199-87, college: Catawba) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 16 rebounds for the winners and the former international guard Adama Darboe (190-86) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was Serbian center Bojan Marinkovic (209-84) with 18 points and 6 rebounds and Hungarian forward Attila Kovacs (203-85) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Svendborg and five Horsholm players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Svendborg. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Bakken. Loser Horsholm dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. Svendborg will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Horsholm will play against Randers (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
