23-year old forward Emily Hatch (185-F-89) put on an amazing game in the last round for second-ranked Lemvig and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 7.
She had the game-high 36 points adding nine rebounds for Lemvig in her team's victory, helping them to beat Aabyhoj (#7, 1-6) 81-76. Lemvig maintains the 2nd position in Danish Dameligaen. They are still close to the very top. Lemvig would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 6-1 record. In the team's last game Hatch had a remarkable 68.4% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Lemvig and it's hard to imagine this team without her. University of San Diego graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hatch is league's best scorer averaging so far 21.9ppg and leads league in rebounds with 12.4rpg. Hatch is in league's top in assists (4th best: 3.3apg) and averages solid 59.3% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Trenice Fuller (193-C-87) of Falcon. She is American center in her 3rd season at Falcon. In the last game Fuller recorded impressive double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Of course she lead Falcon to another comfortable win outscoring Horsens (#8, 0-7) 83-54. Falcon's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 5-2 record is not bad at all. Fuller is one of the most experienced players at Falcon and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.0ppg (#4). She also registered 10.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Alexandra Chili (180-G) of Vaerlose (#4). Chili showcased her all-around game by recording 22 points, ten rebounds and six assists in the last round. Despite Chili's great performance Vaerlose lost 62-79 to #1 ranked SISU. But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The chances of Vaerlose ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 4 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Chili could help Vaerlose to bring them higher in the standings. Chili has a great season in Denmark. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 19.7ppg (2nd best), rebounds with 7.3rpg (7th best) and assists with 2.7apg (7th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Catharina Jensen (183-G/F-89) of Amager - 25 points and 12 rebounds
5. Maria Jespersen (182-G-94) of Aabyhoj - 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists
6. Rikke Fabricius (183-C-92) of Vaerlose - 10 points, 14 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Camilla Blands (180-G-85) of SISU - 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Lotte Tobiasen (183-F/C-91) of Amager - 15 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists
9. Therese Deemand (175-F/G-83) of Horsholm - 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Julie Hoier (185-F/G-95) of Aabyhoj - 10 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
