Experienced former international power forward Nicolai Iversen (205-F/C-80) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's second-best Bakken and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 32-year old power forward had the game-high 26 points adding five rebounds and four assists for Bakken in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Naestved (#5, 6-6) in overtime 87-83. Bakken maintains the 2nd position in Danish Ligaen. Bakken has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 11-1. In the team's last game Iversen had a remarkable 84.6% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Bakken and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Nicolai Iversen averages this season 16.2ppg and 6.4rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 30-year old American forward Bonell Colas (205-F-82) of Randers. Colas impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 21 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as Randers lost that game 77-83 to slightly higher-ranked Aarhus BC (#6, 5-7). Randers is still second from the bottom in the standings. 9 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Randers managed to get this year. Colas is a newcomer at Randers and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 25.5ppg (#2). He also registered 14.6 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Caleb Walker (193-G-89) of Naestved (#5). Walker scored 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Despite Walker's great performance Naestved lost 83-87in overtime to the higher-ranked Bakken (#2, 11-1). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Naestved needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 6 lost games. Walker has a great season in Denmark. After 12 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 20.1ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 8.7rpg (6th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Rasmus Soby Dalboge (191-G-89) of Aarhus BC - 24 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Alexander Murphy (183-G-88) of Naestved - 18 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists
6. Randy Dezouvre (195-F/G-87) of Aarhus BC - 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
7. Miguel Ortega (188-PG-91) of Randers - 17 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Chad Tomko (180-PG-89) of Bakken - 13 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists
9. Christian Nielsen (201-F-86) of Randers - 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Mads Frandsen (203-C/F-90) of Naestved - 12 points, 9 rebounds and 3 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
