Dameligaen top team - SISU (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Aabyhoj (3-9) 83-50. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Aabyhoj's 30. SISU forced 28 Aabyhoj turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of American power forward Nathalie Reshard (183-F/C-86, college: Alabama) who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Trine Duelund (182-84) who added 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. SISU's coach Hrannar Holm felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Maria Jespersen (182-94) with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Undefeated SISU have an impressive 11-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 11-0 record. Aabyhoj at the other side keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. SISU are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Horsens (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aabyhoj will play against Horsholm and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.

In the last two games of round 12 Amager lost to Lemvig on the opponent's court 64-77. Horsholm managed to outperform Vaerlose in a home game 81-70.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists by Emily Hatch of Lemvig.

Lemvig - Amager 77-64

Very expected game when 6th ranked Amager (4-8) was defeated on the road by second ranked Lemvig (10-1) 77-64 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-64. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Emily Hatch (185-89, college: San Diego) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Mallory Moore who added 24 points during the contest. Lemvig's coach Thomas Johansen used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was swingman Catharina Jensen (183-89) with 24 points and 8 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and forward Ena Viso (183-93) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. Lemvig have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 10-1 record behind leader SISU. Amager at the other side keeps the sixth place with eight games lost. Lemvig are looking forward to face Vaerlose (#5) at home in the next round. Amager will play against Falcon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Horsholm - Vaerlose 81-70

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Horsholm's (7-5) home victory over 5th ranked Vaerlose (5-7) 81-70 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Horsholm. Vaerlose managed to win second period 24-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Therese Deemand (175-83, college: Binghamton) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Maja Gerlyng-Hansen (180-88, college: Siena) who added 13 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American guard Alexandra Chili (180, college: Muhlenberg) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and center Rikke Fabricius (183-92) scored 17 points. Horsholm have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser Vaerlose keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Horsholm are looking forward to face Aabyhoj (#7) on the road in the next round. Vaerlose will play against the league's second-placed Lemvig and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.

Universidad de Oviedo (LF2) signed 25-year old Danish swingman Anne Pedersen (185-92, college: LSU). She played last season at Sevenoaks Suns in British WBBL. In 21 games she had very impressive stats: 15.3ppg, 7.8rpg and 1.7apg. Pedersen won English WBBL championship title. She was voted Eurobasket.com All-English WBBL 1st Team in 2017. Cashin inks at Vaerlose at the beginning of her pro career - 20 days ago
Dameligaen newcomer Vaerlose BBK strengthened their roster with addition of American forward Paige Cashin (193). Cashin just graduated from S.Florida (NCAA). She has played there for the last four years. But in 13 games she recorded only 1.1ppg last season. Cashin helped them to make it to the final. Horsholm 79ers (Dameligaen) strengthened their roster with addition of 25-year old Danish guard Gritt Ryder (178-92). It is actually her comeback to Horsholm as she has played here before. just graduated from Colorado State University (NCAA).
